On a Mother's Day trip to Pender, we fell in love with the beauty and peacefulness of the Island. We enjoy exploring the numerous beaches and coves. In 2003 we built our dream home. We love to escape the busy City whenever we can to recharge!
We built this house on a rocky ridge to capture the spectacular views. We love the high vaulted post
and beam structure with lots of windows and skylights to let the sunlight in. We enjoy coffee on the deck watching the sun come up in the morning, and boats sailing by.
Delightful and very well equipped cottage in a secluded setting with views across Plumper Sound. Easy access to both islands. Relax in the hot tub under starry skies or sit on the deck and enjoy the wildlife. On chilly nights enjoy the wood fire. Mike the owner pleasant and easy to communicate with. Chilled here for two weeks and absorbed the silence and peace that is Pender Island.
Comfortable and private retreat for a restful vacation. Easily accessible to all Pender Island has to offer. Lots of little extras included that makes a stay even better. Lots of towels, dishes, good quality cookware. Home and grounds very clean and well maintained. The hot tub was a treat after a day of golf, hiking, or beach exploring. Would recommend to others.
Nice piece of property with amazing views from almost every room. Very quiet area and great functional and open layout of the home. We had a wonderful stay there.
A little piece of heaven. Incredibly views, a very comfortable and beautiful home, and amazing hosts. Heartily recommended! We will definitely be back.
We stayed for 4 days in October. The house was clean, comfortable and extremely well equipped. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fantastic views. Would recommend this property to anyone. Mount Norman right out the back also.
Our family enjoyed your home immensely! The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials, tons of towels for the beach, comfortable beds for everyone and a lovely deck to relax on and listen to the birds and look out at the ocean. The hot tub was enjoyed every night after a hard day at the beach and strolling through the bookstore! Thanks, Mike, for a lovely stay.
Mount Norman hiking trails right out the front door. Numerous beaches throughout the islands. Launch your kayak or small boat at Mortimer spit and explore the shoreline. Crab fishing off the local docks. Driftwood center offers grocery shopping, bakery/cafe/internet, book store, liquor store, and many more...
