Shangri-La

We have been to Maui and stayed at some lovely locations, but this was the first time we had extended family join us. All of us were quite taken with the property. The house was immaculate, spacious, nicely decorated, and peaceful with many separate areas both indoors and out for relaxing and soaking up the sun. Nearly everything we needed for the pool, beach, and food preparation (morning, noon, night, and in-between) was provided, along with many other convenience items (books, stationery). The views over the ocean were wonderful, and even a few turtles were spotted at waters edge near the bottom of the backyard path. The location is walking distance to Napili Plaza (market, coffee store, dive shop, etc.), and with a little more effort to Napili Kai (my favourite beach-front sunset-watching lounge), and the renouned Kapalua Spa, which was repeatedly enjoyed by several members of our party. A beachfront trail and hiking from Kapalua are also easily accessible. Kanapaali and Lahaina are relatively close by car (there are also buses to both). The manager was most attentive to a minor problem (with pool lights) which we did not really even notice.
Highly recommended for visitors who appreciate a quality property with quiet surroundings in an excellent location.
