Closest Row Of Villas To The Sea At Punta Del Mar Beach

Our vacation home contains a master (king-sized bed) boasting excellent ocean/beach views and private bathroom with a large walk-through closet/changing area. The second bedroom (queen-sized bed) boasts the identical great ocean views and doubles as a 'second' master bedroom. The third bedroom for the children consists of two sets of bunk beds (4 twin-size beds) along with a spiral staircase to a loft where 2 twin-sized beds and a pull-out twin-size trundle bed are located. There is enough sleeping accommodations for your entire vacationing families where 2 couples can have their own rooms and the children (up to 7 children/young adults) have their own beds. Outside the master bedroom/bath suite there is a full hallway bathroom and laundry room. The ground floor consists of an overly-sized living room, dining room and den-all with great views of the ocean. The kitchen is very large and well-equipped with all the necessary cooking and bakeware you'll need. There are hotel-quality towels for bathing and the beach provided. The den contains a 42 inch LCD television with a surround sound and DVD player and there is a CD player equipped with an I-Pod station-so bring your DVD's and music. Wi-Fi is provided inside the villa. The third floor patio measuring close to 800 sq. ft. (partially covered) provides seating for everyone to enjoy the beautiful sunsets of Rincon. There is also a first floor patio for barbequing. Large rooms and plenty of sleeping areas along with terrific views of this ocean/beach-front villa make this property truly unique. The vacation home is located inside the 145 acre, man-gated private community of Punta del Mar Beach Village where you and your loved ones will experience rest and relaxation, quiet times and tranquility, cleanliness of our home along with peace of mind that your children are safe and close-by. The season tide pool allows for younger ones to swim without the worry of big waves crashing at the shore. There are a couple of good-quality boogie boards for your enjoyment. The villa is located along some of the best areas of beach for sea-glass collecting which the children will love to bring back home to show their friends. Much artwork and jewelery is made with sea-glass. Strolling along the beach towards the sunset to well-known restaurants such as Casa Islena and Tamboo for lunch or dinner are short 5-15 minute walks. Located on the northern side of Rincon, east of Sandy beach, provides the terrific surf which has made Rincon the tourist attraction it has become. The village at Punta del Mar provides the relaxation for a well-deserved vacation while still being close to the vacationing hot-spots. Enjoy the on-site basketball courts. Like to walk/jog? How about the close to a mile-long driveway off Rt. 115.

About Tim Gill

Maggie and I met on a Long Island beach when we were just teenagers in 1986. We both grew up in New York and raise our family there. We celebrated our Silver Anniversary in July of 2011. We have a couple of terrific children, Jessica 25, in medical school and Brian 23, working for Metro North. I inspect buildings for a living and Maggie drives a school bus. When we're not working, we love to get away to our future retirement home in Rincon where we've got the pleasure of making some real nice friends over the years in and around our Puerto Rican home. We enjoy getting away from it all whenever we can on one of those nightly JetBlue flights from JFK straight into Aguadilla-then it's only about a 25 minute drive to our vacation home's front door.

After several years of traveling the Caribbean in search for a vacation home, our search led us to Rincon, Puerto Rico where the weather is terrific and swimming in the ocean during any months is great. To wake up and immediately view the ocean/beach for the bedroom is truly a paradise on earth.

What makes this villa unique

Ocean views are present form the master and second bedrooms along with the living and dining rooms. Our villa is located in the first row of buildings along the seaside in this gated community. You can walk down the beach to Casa Islena or Tamboo/Beside the Pointe (10-15 minutes). Located along a stretch of beach known for some of the best sea-glass collecting anywhere.

There are plenty of activities in and around the Rincon area. There is also a small marina in Rincon for half and full day boating, diving and snorkeling trips. There are whale watching trips during the winter months and whales can often be seen from our beach just outside the front door of from the third floor patio during whale watching season (January-March). You can walk to restaurants like Volcanoes (across from the complex entrance) Casa Islena (a 5-10 minute walk down the beach-towards the sunset) and Tamboo-Beside the Pointe (www.BesideThePointe.com) a popular restaurant/bar-a 10-15 minute walk down the beach featuring live music on the weekends.

Kenny our property manager is there to help you find terrific places to visit, eat and drink and can also arrange for an in-house massage as well as the scheduling of surfing lessons.

Very spacious third floor patio with southern and western exposure to enjoy those beautiful Rincon sunsets. Ideal for 2 couples and their children as the 2 ocean-viewing bedrooms are that of the master (king-sized bed and private closets and bathroom) bedroom and a bedroom with a queen-sized bed. Awesome, peaceful condo!

We stayed in this beach house for 4 nights with our parents and 17 month old daughter. The house was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and luxurious. Everything was as described and more! The pictures simply do not do the beach justice! Who knew that Rincon, Puerto Rico was so beautiful! The private beach was SO RELAXING. Just bliss! Kenny, the property manager was friendly and helpful! The property owners were easy to work with, very helpful (sending directions and instructions in preparation for the trip), and most of all, kind! I would absolutely recommend this property to family and friends. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Rincon.

Wonderful large house great for a group getaway!

We were 9 adults in our late twenties on spring break and had a wonderful relaxing quiet time. There was hardly anyone else in the complex and we basically had the beach to ourselves! The water is a bit rough and the ocean bottom is lined with hard rock so it can be a little intimidating for a swim.

Pictures were accurate. Rincon was a nice quiet town and had some decent eats in the area, as well as other calmer beaches! I would definitely rent this place again in a heartbeat.

Only downside was the request for an earlier check-in, and the on-property manager said he could likely accomodate it even though there were people checking out that same day. However, when we came at noon the manager was there with the cleaning lady and we were told it would be another 4 hours until the house was ready --- which I believe was later than a normal check-in anyway!

Owner's Response: Flights into Aguadilla and Ponce often arrive in the wee-hours and we try our best to be open to earlier check-ins, granted that there is sufficient time for the cleaning crew to leave the premises spotless. Our property manager Kenny issues towels for you to use and enjoy the beach prior to check-in. It's a small window to get the place in order when we have check-outs and check-ins only hours from each other. We have our check-in time is 4 pm and we do our best to get you in as soon as possible but cleanliness is our top priority. Our guests deserve nothing less than excellence. Thank you.

This is a perfect place to stay. The house is fantastic and in a perfect location. It is exactly as it's described, you'll be happy and won't be surprised at all. We felt very safe within the complex and it was still close enough to walk to restaurants down in Sandy Beach. Tim was really helpful and made everything extremely easy. Also be sure to contact Kenny as directed by Tim. He was so helpful and I wish we contacted him earlier.

Owner's Response: Close enough to all, but set apart from it all. Truly the location is perfect for a relaxing vacation. Kenny, our property manager is always a phone call away and will help you find exactly what your looking for-be it sightseeing, restaurants, bars, beaches, waterfalls, or anything else. He grew up in the states and moved to Puerto Rico years ago. He speaks perfect English and Spanish while knowing many people and the entire western PR area. I heard he even scheduled a masseuse for you who came to the villa and brought his own table. Sometimes we go on vacations to terrific destinations but need that guide to inform us of all that can be experienced. Kenny is that guy and does a terrific job for our guests. Thanks.

Rincon Beach House

We had a wonderful stay at this property in Rincon. It is located on the north end of town in a community called Punta Del Mar. The community is made up of a bunch of 4-plex buildings, which are all adjacent to a beautiful secluded beach. This property is as close to the beach as any of the buildings and has great views of the ocean. It is ideal for two couples with or without kids. It is well furnished, clean, and spacious. The rooftop patio is a great place to hang out and enjoy the atmosphere. It is a short walk to a couple of restaurants/bars. We would definitely go back for a nice, relaxing vacation.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Great grandparents visit

Our trip was to introduce our 7 week old grandson to his great grandparents who live in Moca, Puerto Rico. We were looking for a place relatively close by as well as somewhere where we could relax and just have a good time. My son and his wife along with our 20 month old granddaughter and our 7 week old grandson, my youngest son and my wife all stayed at the house and we were very comfortable. This was the place to be. I felt like I hit the jackpot. The villa was beautiful and the pictures on the web site did it justice. What you saw is was what you got. The house was very spacious and very comfortable. Waking up every morning and walking to the beach a few feet away was awesome. I would sit on the hammock shown on the pictures and just enjoy the breeze and the sound of the ocean as I sipped on my coffee. In the evenings we would sit up on the third floor porch and enjoy peace and tranquility as we looked up into the stars following the beautiful sunsets. The place was quiet and serene. Our families were able to come by and visit with us which made the trip even more special. Tim (the owner) was easy to talk to and did not mind calling him with any questions. Kenny the manager was also very helpful. This is much better than staying at a hotel. The beach is right there and other sites to visit are just a short drive away. Bottom line, I would recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat.I am looking forward to renting it again in the future when we go back to PR. I envy you Tim, you have a beautiful place.
