Sentinel Pines is Lake Placid's newest development. This is a beautifully appointed Adirondack style 3 bedroom 2 full bath and 2 1/2 bath townhome. The kitchen features granite countertops and is open to the dining room and living room area. The living room hosts a gas stone fireplace and 37' flat screen HDTV and wireless internet access. There is a half bath on this level. An outdoor patio deck sits off the dining and living room area. The upstairs hosts the master bedroom with a king bed, a mounted 32' flat screen TV, and large custom tiled bath ensuite. Two other bedrooms on this level feature a set of twin beds and a full bed and share the 2nd full bathroom. The lower level hosts another living room area with sleeper sofa, multi-game table, 37' flat screen HDTV, and an additional 1/2 bath.

Short walk to shopping, dining, and Mirror Lake. Or you can catch the Trolley which has a stop at our location. 15 Minutes to ADK Loj, 1 Minute to Horse Grounds, 1 Minute to Ski Jumps, and 15 Minutes to Whiteface Mtn. Located on the Ironman and Marathon Course. Trail access behind unit. Truly an ideal base camp for all your outdoor adventures that offers a a quiet convenient location to relax.

Set back in a quiet location against the woods. Convenient access across the street to 'The Corner Store' (great soft serve ice cream for kids :-) and 'Green Goddess Organic Store'. Village Trolley stop at the entrance to Sentinel Pines.

Fabulous winter ski weekend!

We had a great February ski weekend at Sentinel Pines. Location was perfect, close to stores in town and an easy drive(15 min) to ski, but down the hill from the main road so we felt it was private enough. The place is even cozier and more charming than the pictures show, with lots of wood decor and the kitchen was the most well equipped we've seen--we wanted for no tool, dish, pot, or pan. Very easy rental, the owner was responsive, helpful, and informative. Not a single complaint, we loved our stay!
