Three bedroom detached house with well-equipped kitchen and pool

A 90m2 three-bedroom house on one level set on a 2000m2 hill-side property with great privacy. Includes three bedrooms with two double beds and two singles, one bathroom with shower, separate W.C. The large living room has a magnificent fireplace and plenty of logs. Amenities include Radio, TV, DVD and Internet; well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. There's plenty of parking on the property at the bottom of our drive. The pool below the house is not big (8,0 x 2,4 x 1,3 metres deep) but it is beautifully sited among the oleanders, rosemary and olive trees to catch the last sun of the evening without being overlooked.

Claviers, land of olive trees: We built this little house forty years ago to provide a quiet haven for our parents in an idyllic setting of pines and olive trees, off the road and far enough outside the village to be properly in the country.

It is quiet and very private, yet has a lovely aspect across the valley to wooded hills opposite. The light is extraordinary, soft and lavender coloured, with often dramatic sunsets. There are lots of birds and butterflies.

We have completely renewed the kitchen and bathroom and have redecorated the whole house, giving it a great fresh feeling.

French doors lead out to the terraces around the house lending great openness to the living room, with its beautiful great fireplace and cathedral ceiling.

Writers, painters and thinkers would really enjoy this little house.

Quiet little roads link Claviers and the ravishing Provencal villages of the area, crossing hills covered in olives, pines and holm oaks, with little vineyards saved from tourism. Spending ones holiday in this house in the heart of the country is certain to enchant those who love nature and the beautiful southern light. The discreet and authentic elegance of the place is quite captivating.

Nous avons été ravis par cette maison meublée avec goût avec du mobilier neuf. L'endroit est tranquille sans vis à vis, et la région magnifique loin de la côte surpeuplée. Depuis la terrasse la vue est superbe du matin jusqu'au soir. Anne nous a accueilli très gentillement, et nous avons apprécié sa disponibilité tout au long de notre séjour.

Nous avons tellement apprécié cette jolie maison que nous la re louons en juillet 2012.



We were delighted by this pretty house, newly furnished with taste. It's a very quiet spot, not overlooked, and in a magnificent area far from the crowded coast. The view from the terrace is superb from morning to night. Anne was very welcoming and we valued her ready availability during our stay. We liked it so much we have re-booked for July 2012!

We spent to weeks at the property, and we could not of chosen anything better. Booking the property was very simple and quick. The house is set down a quite lane, which is great for families as you dont have to worry about traffic. The views were absolutely amazing from the property, and it was a joy to wake up to them every morning :) The house is spacious and minimally furnished which is fantastic if you have children. There is a pool, although we did not use it as it was not open, but it does look nice, and there is pool furniture available for you to use. Everything is well kept and maintained to a high standard. Claviers is around a 20 minute walk away, where you have a corner shop, boulangerie, 3 restaurants, and a dr's (if you need one!) I highly recommend this property, you will not be disappointed.

We had a wonderful weeks holiday in Claviers, the house is set amongst olive trees and rosemary bushes which give off the most
delightful scent in the heat of the day.We also enjoyed watching the sun go down whilst sitting on the terrace, such peace and quiet !
We found the house to be very clean, well appointed , light and airy,particularly loved the double doors leading on to the terraces
from the living room and bedroom bringing the outside inside. Our whole family enjoyed the house even our 13 and 17 year old sons
The pool isn't big, buts its set amongst lovely scenery and fine for a cool down swim or lazing around on a lilo-I would recommend this
holiday home to others , it is one I would be more than happy to visit again.

We are less than an hour from the coast (Ste Maxime) and many beaches and and mountain resorts are within easy reach, from Nice to Toulon, as are the colourful markets of Draguignan, Fayence and Grasse. Just relax, play boules or enjoy the many nearby walking and biking trails. Visit the wineries of Cotes de Provence or enjoy the many musical events throughout the summer months. A quiet and delightful family house, yet within easy reach of the dramatic Gorges du Verdon and the breathtaking Alps of Provence.

Refundable damage deposit €500
A non-returnable advance of 25% of the rental is payable to secure the reservation. THe payment may be made by bank transfer (we will send you bank details). The balance needs to be paid to arrive at least two weeks before the start of the rental. The refundable deposit may be paid by cheque to our housekeeper Anne on arrival, and will be returned at the end of your stay.
Notes Rental weeks that include the Easter, Halloween or Christmas holidays will be charged at €1000.
Rental weeks between October 1 and May 1 must pay an additional heating supplement of €50.
Rental periods can be negotiated to suit both parties, and discounts may be offered for longer rental periods.

Notes:
The house is simply but comfortably equipped with all new linens and towels as well as much of the furniture. The kitchen has been completely reequipped. The living room is in two parts, a sitting area around the fireplace and a dining area with a large round table that gives directly onto the terrace. Anne, our housekeeper in the village can arrange additional cleaning or laundry, as well as making sure any technical problems are quickly dealt with. The water treatment and cleaning of the pool will be looked after during your visit
