3 Bedroom, 2 Bath, 10 Sleeps With Gorgeous Mountain Views

Our fully stocked property contains all the amenities you would need for a great stay in South Lake Tahoe. This property sleeps 10 comfortably. Two enclosed bedrooms and a bathroom are located downstairs while the entire second floor is a loft with three beds (1 king, 1 sofa bed and 1 futon) along with a full bathroom. A full kitchen and laundry area are available to you. As you rise out of bed in the morning, open the curtains and European blinds in the living room to enjoy a wonderful, relaxing view of the sierra mountains while you sip a hot cup of coffee or tea. You won't want to leave this property since you have everything at your fingertips to stay comfortably in this chalet. If you do decide to go for a hike, ski, snowboard or some other activity, know that you can return to a steaming hot tub to relax in.
About Ann Marie Amaro

Our family purchased 'the Snow House', as we refer to it, to accommodate us comfortably so that we could take quick trips from the San Jose area to Lake Tahoe to enjoy skiing and snowboarding during the winter and trips to the beach and hiking during the warmer months. We like to work hard in the Bay area and play hard in the Lake Tahoe area. We purchased the property from the original owner who built the property for their family. We hope you build many memories here as families before you have.

This home provides us with all the amenities we need for the activities we enjoy. We really enjoy the location since we could walk to Heavenly Valley or even catch the shuttle from our front door for skiing and snowboarding. The Chalet is close enough to the casinos, shopping and activities yet far enough to enjoy the calm, serene quiet of the mountains.

What makes this house unique

We absolutely love making breakfast and sitting out on the deck in the early mornings to savor our food and drink while viewing the mountains. After a long day of skiing or snowboarding, it is wonderfully relaxing to soak in the hot tub. The combination of the crisp, cold air and steaming water in the hot tub is unbelievable.

During the winter, the kids can create their own snow park adjacent to the chalet for sledding and tubing while adults relax and enjoy a warm drink on the deck while watching the kids. This makes for a very relaxing time for the adults while the kids get tired out. During the warm months, you can hike to Heavenly Valley (1/2 mile), take the lifts and continue your hike up to a gorgeous view of Lake Tahoe at 10,000 feet. It is very doable for a novice hiker. The view of Lake Tahoe is breathtaking. During the winter, you can literally ski down the road to Heavenly Valley and get a half or full day of skiing or snowboarding without having to deal with parking in the lot or down the road.

Wonderful home a few blocks from Heavenly

We stayed 3 nights at this wonderful home which was blocks away from Heavenly ski resort. We simply went snowboarding in the day and soaked in the hot tub on the deck at night while others in our group BBQ'ed. The place itself was very cozy with everything you could possibly need. The owner was also so helpful in answering all of our questions.

Simply, the home made the entire trip so much more enjoyable.
