DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT

A deposit of 25% of the rent is required to secure your booking.

The balance is payable 8 weeks before your arrival date. A security deposit of €500 or 25% of the rent, if greater, is also due 8 weeks prior to the arrival date. If a booking is made less than 8 weeks before the arrival date, 100% plus the security deposit is required to secure the booking.

If you cancel, or fail to pay the balance by the due date, all amounts paid to secure the booking are forfeited, and only the damages deposit will be returned. Security deposits, less any deductions (including expenses) are returnable after the departure date.

Breakages will be recharged on a replacement as new cost basis.

All bank and credit card charges are recharged to the account of the tenant at cost.

CONTRACT

Subject to contract and signature of our residents' charter, which imposes standards of neighbourly behaviour on our community, especially with regard to quiet enjoyment.

EXTRAS

Our prices are inclusive of all expenses (electricity allowance of €150pw), except when the price is below £3,000pw, in respect of which our tariff for check-in-&-out, maid service, utilities (including electricity), laundry and cleaning, which is designed only to recoup our costs, is detailed below.

Electricity - according to meter readings (typically €100-150 pw, but air/con and jacuzzi will increase costs significantly)

Water - €5 per day (winter); €7 per day (summer); €10 per day (summer) - yes, utilities in Spain are relatively expensive!

Communications system (standing charge) - €2.79 per day, plus call and/or any other charges

Laundry - €15 per set of linen & towels issued

Cleaning on departure - €15 per head

Daily maid service (2 hours per working weekday - mandatory): €15 per hour

Check-in/admin fee: €75 per stay

LARGER GROUPS

We reserve the right to charge 7.5% more, by arrangement, if the number exceeds 12, and a further 7.5% if the number exceeds 16. This is regardless of the age of the people in the group, and refers to the number of different people staying in the villa during the course of your stay. These extra charges reflect the additional staff costs incurred with larger groups.

VALUE

Even with the extras chargeable with low rents, our properties offer incredible value, compared to similarly priced alternatives.

Please note that we do not accept hen or stag parties, nor will we contract with a person under 25.

Our family, all ten of us, had a fabulous time on this property and in Marbella. It was the exact getaway we all needed. The best thing to say about this house, is it is exactly as it appears on the internet - it's beautiful, has great views, plenty of room, excellent internet connects and close "enough" to the beach. The local beach is lovely, not too crowded but plenty of amenities, restaurants, bars and amazing croissants!! We rented a car so went back and forth to the beach almost every day. We cooked for ourselves several nights and the kitchen is well stocked. The local restaurants are very good, the paella for 4 feeds 6 at the beach! The city of Marbella is beautiful, about 15 minutes away, and provides great restaurants, shopping and a very "busy" beach. We'd rent this property again if we were on the costa del sol again.

Heaven at Villa Las Colinas

This is pure luxury. Where to start? A swim in the pool, a glass of bubbly in the jacuzzi whilst we watch the sunset or just watch it from the terrace off our bedroom? Las Colinas is extremely spacious, whether in living or sleeping areas and all fixtures and fittings are of the highest quality. The 5 bathrooms (4 en suite) are beautiful. The whole villa, the large kitchen included, is extremely well-equipped with all mod cons - that is, if you haven't chosen the option to have the cook make you a delicious and authentic meal (better Andalusian food than at any restaurant I have ever eaten in!). Santi, the maid was most kind and helpful. Dining on the large terrace overlooking the pool and extensive gardens was a pleasure but dining indoors was also lovely in the bright and spacious dining area which leads off the main living area. Quite frankly, the photos just don't do this place justice!
From start to finish this is a slick, efficient, yet friendly organisation. Nothing was too much trouble for William and Arnie who dealt with our booking. Having signed the contract, they sent us a 50 page comprehensive information pack which introduced us to places we would have never found on our own, including good quality restaurants which weren't too expensive. One of our party was a golf fanatic and William (who is very knowledgeable about the golf courses in this neck of the woods and has written an authoritative guide to the courses of Spain & Portugal) was able to advise and arrange a few rounds for him. He is thinking of returning with other golf fanatics!
This is a lovely place for a holiday and we found the weather warm and sunny in February. Having heard that Seaforde also have a villa in Tuscany am considering this for our next holiday. Maybe we'll go there for the olive harvest.

The Marbella weather in February this year has been absolutely gorgeous: while the rest of Europe has frozen, we have had wall-to-wall sunshine every day. We are particularly keen to encourage others to holiday with us at this time of year. Now is the best time to use our villa as a base for either holiday golf, or to see all the fabulous historic sights of Andalucia (Granada, Seville, etc) with no worry about queues or heat. Glorious light and strong winter sun.
Thanks also for plugging our 'information pack'. We are happy to share our Spanish secrets with our guests, and do the same for our properties in Cornwall and Tuscany. The same 'no-queues' advantages apply to the wonders of Tuscany as well. Come and see us there next time.

Fantastic vacation

I stayed at this villa in July 2011 with 10 other friends – a combination of mid-40s singles and couples. We had an amazing time. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The villa itself was gorgeous and clearly built to high standards with marble flooring, luxury bath fixtures, powerful air conditioning, and a large well equipped kitchen. It was ideally situated for a quick trip to the beach or for day trips to Rhonda, Granada, Seville, or Gibraltar. We also spent a good bit of time just lounging by the pool. We thoroughly enjoyed the restaurants in El Rosario and down the hill along the beach. But don’t pass up having the caretaker, Santi, cook you a meal or two at the villa! She did an amazing job. We would definitely hope to come back and visit again. Cars are definitely required as there is not much within an easy walk of the villa.

Close to Everything/Brand New

I stayed at this property with my sister and our husbands. I had never been to Delray Beach before and what a treat. Everyhing you could want to do is right there. The house sits in a private neighborhood tucked away but is less than five minutes from downtown Delray and the beach. When you get there you can enjoy cafes, fine dining, shopping, sightseeing, and the fabulous beaches. When you want quiet family time, you go back and have privacy with your own deck, dock, grill, and hot tub. The website ad said it was Brand New and it wasn't lying. Everything was new and it felt like living in a model but so homey and comfortable. It was perfect and I wanted to stay! Sandy-Virginia

Great relaxation/place to gather

I stayed at this lovely location with my husband and sister and her husband. We were in Florida to celebrate my husband's birthday with a few of his college friends who live there. I had 3 other couples over for a "little gathering" to surprise my husband. It was the perfect setting. The temperature was perfect, we had the patio doors open and the breeze was fantastic. There was so much room to move around and so many places to sit and spread out while still being together. What a beautuiful and relaxing time. We loved it! Shayne-Maryland

Stunning views, fabulous villa

Our family of seven stayed in this superbly presented villa in January 2010.
It is accurately depicted in the description and we found it a very convenient base for our holiday on the Costa del Sol.
We were able to visit Gibraltar, Morocco and Ronda easily. Marbella and surrounds were literally just down the hill.
There was a very convenient supermarket and restuarants only five minutes away by car.
When we had trouble with the television the problem was fixed speedily.
The stand out feature of this magnificent house was not just the sumptuous interior but the sweeping views across the Mediterranean to Africa and Gibraltar.
We stayed in five very different properties during our month in Andalusia and this villa would be one we would love to stay in again.

Very pleased group of 14 graduates

We were a group of 14 graduates from Sweden that wanted a pleasant house to stay in Marbella for a week. Our preferences? A pool - Check, Jacuzzi - Check, Enough room in a spacious house - Check, A big kitchen (with appliances) and dining area - Check, a good view - Check and just an easy way to rent the place - CHEEECK!

From the very beginning of our contact with the house owners we felt welcomed and well taken care of. There was no question that was silly, there was no problem calling to get answers or information that we needed. All we can say is: WOW.

We had rented cars from Marbella airport to get to the house. And in our house information package we had a fully detailed route plan. There was no trouble finding the house from the airport of Malaga.

Once we got to the house we met up Roger, our local contact man, to get a tour of the house and to get to know the surroundings and all the important functions of the house in case of emergencies or such. All of these could be found in the "guest care package information", but we had no trouble paying a little extra just to get this pleasant welcoming and very useful tour of the house - Really recommended!

On the pictures you can get a sense of what to expect from this house, but it's nothing compared to what it actually is in real life. The house was very neatly cleaned, the furniture was in good shape, the pool was clean and all the beds were made. There was really nothing bad to say about renting this house.

We could have dinners at night time with music in the background without disturbing the neighbours. The surroundings were really quiet and calm, just as we wanted. And let's not even get started about the view... Just W O W. To be able to see over to the coastline of Africa and wake up early in the morning with the sun shining right at the house was just amazing.

All and all, our stay was exquisite.

Could we recommend this to anyone else? - Without a doubt

Our best to William, Celine and Roger who helped us and made us feel so welcomed and satisfied during our stay in Marbella!

The tennis club is only some 3 minutes away.

Within 2 hours or less are the cultural marvels of Alhambra at Granada, Ronda, Seville/Sevilla, Córdoba, Cádiz, Gibraltar and Málaga (Picasso's birthplace).

Morocco is only 35 minutes by fast ferry from Tarifa, where you may also enjoy the best surfing, wind and kite-surfing in Europe.

The Costa del Sol caters for a great variety of sports other than golf and tennis - nearby Funny Beach offers go-karting, quad biking and activity entertainment for children.

We can provide catering in-house if you want to hold a party or dinner-party effortlessly.

Golf: This villa is especially suited to golfers. You can walk to the 8th tee of Robert Trent Jones Snr's Marbella Golf in a couple of minutes or drive to its clubhouse (or adjoining Santa Clara's) in a few more.

The rest of the coast from Valderrama & Sotogrande to Málaga overflows with courses to suit all players' needs. Santa Clara also features excellent practice facilities.

The house is the Marbella base of NZ tour pro and course designer Greg Turner, and is owned by the editor/photographer of the acclaimed Pocket Guide to Golf Courses: Spain & Portugal, which was written in the Blue Bedroom. A free copy of the book is given to every golfer staying at the house. We are extremely well connected within the Iberian golf world, and can arrange tailor-made golf or golf and culture holidays, from a self-catering basis right through to a tour hosted by Greg Turner or other golf playing/course design/photography professionals, as suits the requirements of the party.

  • - The quality of your holiday sleep is our priority! - We have superior beds in all 6 luxurious principal bedrooms and in addition some comfortable full-size fold-out beds for extras. - All bed linen is 100% cotton, mainly Frette/Egyptian. All duvets & pillows are duck/goose feather/down (alternatives available for allergy sufferers on request). - 3 of the 4 upper bedrooms feature balconies, including one large balcony overlooking the pool. - The under floor-heated marble floors are adorned with Persian carpets. - Each room has a TV and a large fitted wardrobe in traditional Andalusian style, recalling the Moorish splendour of the Alhambra, Granada. - The Master Suite includes a Dressing Room, with space for a cot or use of the fold-out bed that lives here. - All rooms feature views to the large garden, sea, local countryside or mountains.

- The villa is the Spanish base of the Pocket Guide to Golf Courses editorial team, led by Greg Turner, the NZ tour pro and course designer. - Our golf library is at your disposal. - The villa features many golf course photos by the owner, who is a respected golf course photographer & writer. - The living & dining room walls are adorned with pastel and oil seascapes by the talented golfer, broadcaster and artist Sarah Sanderson. - Musicians will relish using the Bosendorfer (the 'Bentley' of pianos) in the Living Room and our Yamaha Clavinova digital piano/orchestra in the Hall (headphones available!). - Since early 2012 the pool has been enclosed by fences concealed by beautiful plants and hedges, and is accessible only through gates, all to the design of our international garden designer.
