Caribbean Salt is the Best!!

My husband and I just returned home from a wonderful stay at Caribbean Salt on Orient Beach. Once we got to Orient Bay, we had no trouble locating the condo thanks to the good instructions and map which Laure sent us. She was waiting for us when we arrived and showed us everything we needed to know about staying there.
First of all, everyone always wants to know if the air conditioning is adequate in a vacation rental. There were no problems and the AC kept us very comfortable. And, there was always plenty of hot water, so no worries there! The bedrooms are roomy and updated with king beds and fresh, attractive linens. The bathrooms look new with beautiful tile and modern fixtures. The kitchen is equipped with all appliances, i.e. cooktop stove, oven, microwave, large refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, as well as an under-counter washer which does a very nice job. Laure provided liquid dish soap, dishwasher detergent as well as laundry detergent. There was also a toaster and blender. The dishes and utensils were all new, and everything was in excellent condition.
Laure has taken great care to provide literally everything you would need during your stay. When we arrived, we found a beautiful “Welcome” fruit basket on the kitchen counter with a personal note to us. The refrigerator was stocked with a few items to get us started…milk, coke, beer, water and her special recipe rum punch (thank you, Laure!). There were also some other complimentary food items in the cupboard for our use, if desired.
The TV is a large flat screen, and there is a DVD player and a docking station for your iphone. The only English-speaking TV channel was an international CNN, but we really weren’t there to watch TV! The condo also has Wifi. Only steps from the beach and Orient Village for dinner, you couldn’t ask for anything more from a vacation condo. The pictures you’ll find online are completely accurate. Caribbean Salt is a beautiful little unit, and Laure is the perfect hostess. She lives nearby and is available by phone (there’s one in the condo) and by email for your entire stay and is happy to answer questions or give advice whenever you call.
We’re still on a vacation “high” after our stay at Caribbean Salt, in no small thanks to Laure! Can’t wait to return!
