About Chip Augello

Northeast transplants for 10 years. Love the desert and can assist you in enjoying all that Tucson area has to offer. Owners have a mobile wood fired, brick oven pizza business. Private pizza parties, or gourmet brick oven dinners can be arranged.

Chip Augello purchased this house in 1998

Why Chip Augello chose Oro Valley

Leave the snow and cold weather behind and enjoy the enchantment of the most lush desert in the world, the Sonoran desert. Our property is a mixture of natural desert landscape and groomed low water use plants. There are walking trails around our lot, with connections to acres of desert and a 'wash'. The area is abundant with native animals. A great bird watching area. Gorgeous sunsets right out the front door.

What makes this house unique

Breath taking views of the Catalina, Tucson and Tortolita mountains. Very private. Brick oven on request (if available).

This was a great place for my husband & I & my brother to stay. Clean, convenient & comfortable. Pictures are accurate. The owner, Chip, was nice & helpful. Would definitely recommend to others & would like to return myself and stay longer. Can recommend the Canyon Loop Trail in Catalina State Park.

A perfect getaway

  • 5 of 5

It's like living in the middle of a beautiful Cactus farm with a great view of the Catalina mountains. From the patio we saw various birds including quail, hawks, road-runners and also jack rabbits, coyotes, foxes, etc. Very secluded and very quiet. And still only a couple of miles from grocery store and gas station. Casita was clean, well furnished and very comfortable. Owner, Chip, very friendly and helpful.

Great Place!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed staying at the Casita. It is in a great location that really worked well for us. The evenings were quiet and enjoyable even with the occasional howling of the coyotes. The Casita was clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed the desert setting!
