Beach and Lake Features:

Located in beautiful North Bay Estates - the quietest, least-crowded section of Burt Lake. Surrounded by the U of M nature reserve. 250' of sandy beachfront thirty steps from the front porch or patio. Pure sand bottom - no weeds, no rocks. Great for children as it is shallow for 600' out. Outside shower with hot water. Perfect for building wonderful family vacation memories.

Home Features:

Newer gorgeous craftsman home. Huge great room for family gatherings: open kitchen with 12' island, dining, and living area. Brazilian cherry floors, granite counter tops, and cherry cabinet. Wall of windows has an incredible view down the entire length of Burt Lake. Romantic master bath has a large whirlpool tub and a walk-in shower with dual shower heads.

Separate guest cottage above the garage with bedroom, bath, kitchen, sofa bed, and a 2nd story deck that has an incredible 10 mile view of the lake.

Area Features:

Burt lake is on northern Michigan’s “inland waterway” that includes a chain of four lakes and four fully navigable rivers. Close to Hoppies Restaurant and Douglas Lake Steakhouse. Nearby attractions include Mackinac Island, the Mackinac Bridge, Indian River, Harbor Springs, Cheboygan and Petoskey. Close to Pellston Airport. Sport and pontoon boat rentals are available at several local marinas. Other nearby activities include hiking, golf, horseback riding, and canoe, kayaking and rafting trips.

About Tom Waier

Built in 2005 as our northern Michigan home. Work relocation to Florida in December, 2012. Decided to keep the Burt Lake home for retirement and vacation rental.
