Welcome to one of the best Kihei complexes --Kihei Alii Kai. The complex was built on a hill, so our high first floor apartment, besides facing well maintained green area, also has partial ocean view. Exceptionally quite. Huge lanai. Bamboo floors, new fridge, new full size washer and drier, AC, ceiling fans, platform bed, furniture. The apartment stays cool year round so AC is rarely needed.

Full Kitchen with microwave, toaster, coffee maker. One bath.

In the apartment you will find Cable TV, High Speed Internet with WiFi, 42 LCD TV, DVD player, stereo system, PC, printer and computer desk.

Also beach stuff (towels, chairs, umbrella, mats), snorkeling sets, boogie boards, badminton rackets.

Four guests max (including children)-- queen bed and futon.

No pets, no smoking inside the apartment.

Personal checks from Canada, add 2% processing fee. No personal checks from other foreign banks are accepted.
Fees And Taxes HI taxes: 9.25% transient accomodation tax + 4.17% general excise tax
Cleaning fee for the stay of 7 days or less -- $75
Rates are based on double occupancy. Each additional guest -- $10/night. Kids 7 years and younger stay free.
Check in time 3pm, check out 11am. Unauthorized early check in or late check out result in one night additional fee plus $50 compensation for the scheduled cleaning service.

Quiet and convenient

The owner said it will be quiet and peaceful which can be a tall order in parts of Kihei. That said , it was still in the centre of some action and great restaurants that were a very short walk away. The condo was very well looked after and very clean. During the day we were out enjoying Maui which is why we went there - not to sit and veg in a resort - so this place was a perfect fit for us. We walked down to the beach most nights for the sunset which capped off another great day - all days in Maui are great days!
The owner was great to deal with and was very accomodating and made sure all was right. The photos on the site are accurate - what you see is what you get. The pool looked nice and was busy but as I said we weren't there for the resort - we were out enjoying maui and didn't use it. We would gladly return to this condo and recomend it to a couple who have had a big day out there!!

Exceptionally clean, private, open area and view of water and island from the lanai, easy walk to good beach, plenty of parking, good amenities at complex (e.g., pool, hot tub, tennis courts, etc.).
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Nice place...very convenient

Nice simple clean place...close to everything in Kihei. The unit has about everything you need to be happy....kitchen, washer/dryer (a must unless you pack along 4 huge bags!), comfy sitting area with a TV (I don't think we ever turned it on however...yer in Hawaii...watch TV at home man!) It's no luxury 4 seasons resort...just a nice place at a nice price.
The home WiFi was a real plus....
The building is situated right across the street from a nice beach that is perfect for catching the sunsets...you can walk to about anything from the Alii Kai or a very short drive if you need to get further up the road.
It's a great place...you won't be dissapointed.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Tourists without a Car
