This spacious home is located in the small village of Strawberry, AZ. Located on a lot shaded by tall Ponderosa pine trees with a wrap-round deck on 3 sides this home offers a relaxing setting with rustic furnishings.

About LINDEN OLSON

We are partially retired farmers from extreme southwest MN. While on vacation in AZ we found this area to be a refreshing change from the grassland prairie we have lived in for most of our lives. Warmer in the winter than MN and cooler in the summer than southern AZ this scenic area offers many attractions and activities for those who like hiking, sightseeing, shopping, rock climbing, simple relaxation or any number of other individual or family interests.

Eat in one of a variety of good area restaurants or prepare a meal using our fully equipped kitchen and/or gas grill. Get a refreshing night of sleep in a good bed in a quiet area. If you are in the right place at the right time you may get a glimpse of some of the elk, deer, squirrels, birds, coyotes, javelinas or other wildlife that inhabit the area. Enjoy antiquing or/and looking at artistic creations in Strawberry, Pine, and Payson. Want more? Take a day trip to Sedona or Jericho. Need something? A scenic 19 mile drive down Hwy 87 lies Payson, AZ, a town of 17,000 that offers most of the services of a large city including shops of all kinds, antiquing, golfing and seasonal activities. Want to beat the heat in the summer? Strawberry is about 20 degrees cooler than the valley around Phoenix.

$200 in advance to secure the reservation. Full refund if cancelled 28 days prior to 1st date of reservation. $100 refund if cancelled 14 to 27 days prior. $50 refund 7 to 14 days. No refunds if cancelled less than 7 days prior to reservation. Payment by personal check or money order. $200 damage deposit required and will be refunded upon satisfactory inspection after stay.

Our family of 8, 6 adult, a 10 year old, and a baby, had plenty of room. The cabin is so nice, clean, and spacious. I was in shock as to how much the kitchen was stocked. They even provided the laundry detergent and fabric softener. The cabin is easy to get to and not far from Fossil Creek Trail. We feel in love with the place. We will definately be back. We have to conquer the Fossil Creek Trail. Thank you for sharing Strawberry Haven. For those of you who want to experience this haven please respect the property and keep the cabin clean so that people like us can still enjoy it.

Great get away

We loved our time at Strawberry Haven! The house was great; clean, spacious and very comfortable. The property is covered in pines and though there are plenty of neighbors we felt very secluded! We spent a lot of time in Pine which is only a few miles away and the house is just minutes from some great hiking (highly recommend the Fossil Creek Springs hike) and the goat creamery and fudge shop. We hope to get back up there soon and hopefully they will have the hot tub working. Also Charlie was a great host! Thanks Linden & Carol!

A beautiful room and an amazing price!

We stayed here for just two nights and wish we could have stayed longer. It was ideal for what we needed and offered better than advertised accommodations. There is a large kitchen and open floor plan but we spent most of our time out side and on the amazing deck. Would stay here again in a heartbeat, you will not find a better bargain anywhere in northern AZ. Thanks again

What A Treat!!

Since moving to the valley 8 years ago, we have rented many cabins and this was by far the best!! From the owners, to our host, to the beautifully decorated, roomy, clean cabin you cannot ask for much more!! The parents and grandparents enjoyed reading books on Arizona history next to 1 of the 2 fireplaces, the kids (and adults) loved playing in the snow and relaxing in the cozy loft. The house is well equipped with any kitchen utensil you would ever need, satellite TV, and wifi internet. Within 4 miles we visited the Fossil Creek Goat Farm & Creamery, and some great rustic antique shops. It is perfectly nestled away in the pines, yet easy to get to (even during a steady snowfall). You will not be disappointed with this Strawberry Haven, we are already planning our next trip!

Cozy Family Snow-play Retreat

This is a beautiful property! Very comfortably furnished. The kitchen is stocked with all cooking things you could ever need. Our 5 young children enjoyed stomping around the cabin property. The toys, games, and books on hand made it very fun to come in from the cold and cozy up to the fire. In our party of 9, we never felt cramped for space at all. The living area has nice niches for individuals to read, or nap. Dining space was very accomodating with 6 barstools and a 6 person dining table. We found sledding runs within 15 minutes up the road. Locating the cabin was super easy and very direct. We'll try this place again!
