My family and I stayed at this lovely home in December to celebrate my parents 40th anniversary and had a WONDERFUL time! The house is stunning and safe for children. That being said, this lovely castle home provides endless opportunities of fun for the grown-ups too -- theres a wine room and a movie theatre room...need I say more?! All of the amenities you would require are provided -- the softest towels, pots/pans, dishes, spices, wi-fi, 3 dishwashers (perfect for my fam), etc. The house is just a quick drive from the ski hill, Costco, but located in a private, beautiful, gated community surrounded by trees. The owners are truly lovely people who go out of their way to ensure you have everything you could possibly need and the property manager is equally as helpful and kind. Would definitely recommend staying at this breathtaking house!!
We had an awesome rime 4 adults with 2 adult children. We went out and entertained at this home for a party of 18 plus. Breakfast & dinners. Had pin pong matches, billiards going, lots of wine, the home theatre was great. We used all the areas in the home. it was well kept plus we had a housekeeper when we needed one which we paid for but is part of this home's staff. There's a caretaker whom handled removing the garbage or to answer any questions. We were checked in & out. Recv'd our full refund. Everything was clean and everything was provided for us to enjoy. We will be renting again
Let me preface by saying we are frequent travelers and often stay in 4 to 5 star resorts all over the U.S. and beyond. I grew up in the town of Whitefish, but return frequently to ski in the winter months or boat in the summertime. I have been looking for a home that would hold my large family (eight of us) and be up to par with the level of luxury we are used to staying in. We loved this house. It is situated on 20 acres in a wooded subdivision of high end homes. It's about 5 minutes out of the town of Whitefish towards Kalispell but has the advantage of being close to both cities. Whitefish is where you go to play and Kalispell is where you go for the bigger stores to shop like Target and Costco. I don't like to stay on the Mountain (where Whitefish ski resort is) even if I am skiing, because I don't like to drive up and down the road for every errand I need to run in town-the road to can be hazardous in the winter. You can leave the house and be at the top of the ski resort in 15 minutes or at Whitefish Lake in 5. It's the best of both worlds. The house itself is set up well; with two master bedrooms with attached bathrooms on the first floor, so no need to climb stairs. There is also a separate nanny's quarters, (or even a mother in laws apartment) above the garage and accessible via the garage. Downstairs there is a bunk room for kids and another room with a large bed. We had our local relatives over every night and hung out downstairs where there is a pool table, rec room and huge in room theatre. Trust me, the theatre room is amazing, stocked with every movie imaginable and and one of the focal points of the house. My career pre-kids was property management and I know what to look for in a rental property. This house is cared for well, and maintained immaculately. Whenever we had a problem, Twyla the property manager was over right away or sent someone to fix the problem immediately. You won't regret renting this house--the house and the management company make it top notch.
