Beautiful spacious 4 bedroom home on Fairview Lake in Tafton, Pennsylvania with gorgeous views from most rooms . The main floor has a large open concept living room with wood burning fireplace , generous sized kitchen with breakfast bar, full bath, sun room with a reading nook and access to a screened in porch and open air balcony. The second floor over the main house has two bedrooms with a shar

ed full bath. Both bedrooms have access to the second floor wrap around balcony. The second floor over the garage has the additional two bedrooms, a full bath with two person jetted tub and access to the wrap around balcony. Finally there is a basement game room with a ping pong table, foosball table, dart board and a wide selection of games and movies.

The lakefront has a large deck, private dock, private floating raft and a sandy bottom perfect for swimming and little feet!

Within walking distance of the house in one direction is a local park with tennis courts, basketball courts, playground and covered picnic area. There is also a Blueberry farm for delicious berry picking. Within walking distance in the other direction is a 500 acre nature preserve with walking paths, a pond and great opportunities to spot wildlife (keep your eye open for the Bald Eagles!). Access to this preserve is included in the rental of this property.

This house is within 30 minutes of golf courses and 30-45 minutes from some of the best skiing the Poconos has to offer.

We spent our new years weekend at this place and it was one of the best places we've stayed in - ever! Great location, right at the edge of the lake with beautiful view. Clean house, awesome game room and the owner was great too. He answered every questions and took care of any concerns we had right away. The place is about 45 mins from camelback mountain where we did our snow activities and about the same distance away from an awesome thai restaurant where we had dinner after skiing (10 miles from camelback).
