Everything was perfect!
Renting a home from afar is a nerve-racking activity. You won't know if you were fooled by some selective photography until you arrive. We came to Spokane for our son's graduation from Gonzaga. We had been warned by parents of kids from classes in preceding years that Spokane is greatly impacted by GU graduation. Everything from hotel to restaurant reservations are hard to come by and dear to pay. So we hoped to avoid some of those hassles by renting a home. We also anticipated some of our family would join us at this celebration and we wanted a comfortable place where we could host them.
This home met our every need and indeed exceeded our expectations. Everything was as described by the owner both in the written and photographic description. What she doesn't tell you is that she has an impeccable eye when it comes to decorating! The property is set on a lovely lot, with a great patio area. The kitchen was a chef's dream come true. My wife and sister-in-law, both excellent in the kitchen found nothing wanting when they arrived.
Working with the owner was extremely easy. We agreed to terms, exchanged contracts and sent a deposit via PayPal. Final payment was also made via PayPal prior to arrival. She returned our deposit within 24 hours of our stay's completion!! She even left a bottle of a very nice local wine for our arrival. I cannot say enough good things about her.
If looking for a nicely appointed home, in a tranquil neighborhood, with an excellent landlord you don't need to look beyond this listing.
