We grew up in the South and Midwest and started coming to Colorado in the late 1970s. We have been vacationing in Estes Park with our children for decades and love the beauty and majesty of the mountains. We enjoy hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park, horseback riding, viewing wildlife and visiting with the wonderful people of Estes Park. Where ever we go, Estes is always in our hearts!
This is one of the most amazing places on Earth. We have long loved the majesty of Rocky Mountain National Park, the amazing wildlife and the terrific people one meets on the trails and in the village. We searched many years for the perfect home for us and we found it! We love the spaciousness and privacy. It is perfect for us and we think it will be for you as well. You will be close to everything but away from the snarl of summertime downtown traffic. When we saw it for the first time it just felt like we were home.
Our condominium is spacious and airy with a well equipped kitchen and large vaulted ceiling living room with a two story stone gas fireplace. The bedrooms are on the second floor away from the living area. An added feature is that the loft bedroom/sitting area with fold out futon (8' inner spring mattress!) has its own wall-mounted wide screen television so that the kids can watch TV while the adults enjoy the fireplace downstairs. The downstairs couch is also a fold out bed if someone wants to get away! The Town of Estes Park provides free shuttle service each summer to assist residents and visitors in traveling around Estes Park. Shuttles travel from the Estes Park Visitor Center, 500 Big Thompson Avenue, to more than 50 stops throughout Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. There is a stop right outside of the condominium complex. These free shuttles will make it convenient for you to leave your vehicles at the condo or out parking lot and travel around Estes Park and up to Rocky Mountain National Park during the busy summer season, staying out of the downtown traffic. We have excellent cell phone coverage.
