2 Bedroom, 2 1/2 Bathroom SCW Beauty with a Best View Lot

This 1850 sq ft golf-course retreat (2BR, 2½ baths) with private pool has everything you need for an exceptional stay in Sun City West. Enjoy one of the best views along the golf course!

The home's serene landscape seen from most every window matches the beauty of the well appointed Southwest interior. This open, contemporary home has 10’ ceilings and a feeling of spaciousness.

The light-filled living room is open to a dining area and office. A fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counter top makes meal preparation a delight. The kitchen adjoins a comfortable Arizona room where you can relax in lounge chairs and watch HDTV or gaze outside the bay window from the kitchen table. The master has a king bed with pillow-top mattress and the second bedroom has a queen-size bed. Off of each bedroom is a private bath. The master bath is appointed with glass sinks and faucets and a snail-designed shower with massage jets; the second bath has a traditional full-size tub. There is a washer/dryer and cleaning supplies in the laundry room. The double-car garage with remotes is available for your use.

Sunsets are particularly stunning. Enjoy lounging poolside in the privately fenced back yard. Watch the ducks on the pond and the golfers on the green (or in the sand trap). You even have a distant view of the White Tank Mountains. Grill burgers on the gas BBQ and enjoy a meal under the covered patio.

About Emily

My husband and I live in Durango, CO. We purchased this property as a retreat from the winter temps and snow. However, because skiing is still top on our list, we found we are not yet using our home as often as we anticipated. So we decided to share our home with you.

The combination of access to large-city amenities while living in a well landscaped and secure community attracted us to Sun City West.

What makes this house unique

We furnished our lovely home for ourselves, so you will find everything you'll need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen appliances are new and include a 5-burner gas range and built-in micro range oven. The home also features a water softener. Additional space is available for your use in the third garage, but we owners are using some of that area for storage.

Sun City West is an active 55-plus community. There are 7 golf courses and 4 recreation centers within S.C.W. A variety of activities are offered, including swimming, tennis, fitness centers, pickle ball, bowling, hobby clubs, and much more. A tenant membership fee of $60 per person per month allows full use of all S.C.W. recreation centers. The only extra cost is for additional guests and of course, golf. Several major league baseball spring training venues are nearby.

Luxury and Comfort with an Amazing View

We loved our stay in this beautiful and well maintained home. Beginning from our very first inquiry we found Emily to be sincere and more than helpful in planning and implementing our vacation. The home is even nicer than the pictures reflect, and the pictures are impressive. I found pretty much everything that I needed, was surprised even little things like toothpicks were in the kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets and bedding were of good quality. The home was immaculate and well cared for.The private pool was wonderful, especially the second week when the temperatures soared. There is a pond behind the property alongside the golf course which I had not noticed in the pictures. It was fun to watch the variety of birds in it, also saw a huge fish among the reeds. Emily also recommended some restaurants which was very helpful although we did enjoy barbecuing in the very private and beautiful back yard. We drove to Sedona one day and I wished we had arranged to stay over for one night just to take our time to enjoy the sights. It is breathtaking beautiful! My husband enjoyed the many golf courses and I did some shopping because you can never have enough shoes! I have already recommend this home, in fact on the trip back on the plane. We have other plans for next year but we do hope to come back to this perfect vacation home away from home! Thanks Emily so much for sharing your special place with us. Loretta and Jim

The home was beautiful, exceeded our expectations, very clean, up to date and located in a nice quiet neighborhood. Emily was a pleasure to deal with. We had a couple questions regarding internet use and she responded promptly. A few of our favorite things to do included: having morning coffee on the front patio, relaxing on the back patio while watching the sunsets, biking on the path, hiking nearby mountains, watching sail boats on Lake Pleasant, touring the Phoenix Botanical Gardens, Masa Art Museum, and Chapel of the Holy Cross Church in Sedona. We would highly recommend this vacation home to anyone. There is so much to do. We enjoyed our visit tremendously and hope to return soon!

Two thumbs up for the home and overall experience. It is a well maintained and furnished home. We rented for two months in 2012 and 2011. Our schedule for 2013 is uncertain at this time, but would rent again if we have an opportunity to do so. Owners are very responsive and responsible. SCW is well maintained community and has every possible facility close at hand that anyone might need, from excellent hospitals to fine dining to golf courses.
Obviously, we recommend this home.
