Lovely Huatulco, a winner of the green globe award for environmental and development excellence, winds for 22 miles around 9 beautiful bays and 36 beaches on the southeast coast of mexico overlooking the pacific ocean. The condo is situated on pristine Tangolunda Bay in the gorgeous 5 star Camino Real Zaashila Hotel which is only a 20 minute drive from the Huatulco International Airport.

Tranquility reigns. Are you tired of drab winter colors? Then surround yourself with flowers and the rustle of palm trees. Wake up to soft ocean breezes and watch the sunset from your private pool. This lovely one bedroom fully furnished condo comes with a king-size bed and pull out sofa beds, sleeping from 4 guests. It has marble floors and a fully equipped kitchen, so if you wish to take a break from restaurant eating, you can prepare a meal with Huatulco’s freshly caught fish and locally grown fruit and vegetables. The friendly staff are delighted to help you with reservations for tours, deep sea fishing, restaurants, horseback riding, bird watching, kayaking and so much more. There is no computer access in the rooms, but the hotel business center has two dial up computers available free for your use 24/7.

About Bliss Wilson

My husband and I are busy doctors in a Mexican mountain city. We have three children, a dog and busy practices. Life can get overwhelming, so eighteen years ago, we looked for a getaway that would have something for each of us.

And we found it just eight hours away. We were enchanted by the tranquility, clean air and crystal waters of Hualtulco and in particular, Tangolunda Bay. We found our condo on the grounds of the luxurious Camino Real Zaashila Hotel which has amazing amenities for condo owners and their guests. We love our private pool, the tennis courts and room service, and our children loved the huge hotel pool and beach activities. We all love the nearby beautiful national park with horseback riding, kayaking and hiking. Our children are grown now, but our love affair with Huatulco won't end. We want to share this bit of paradise with others.

The entire condo is tranquil and comfortable but secretly what is a special treat for us is the private pool with a fabulous treetop feel. You can rest on the edge and never get tired of the sunsets or the ocean view.

Great Winter break from Canada

We had a great 2-week stay here with beautiful weather. The apartment is exactly as described and the plunge pool is a great feature. The beach was great and we spent a lot of time under the palapas enjoying the bar service and the sea water. However, the beach is not for small children as it has a very steep profile and "dumping" waves.The hotel stafff have very little English, but were always very willing and helpful. This would have received 5 stars except that there was a totally unexpected charge of $US26 per day for the hotel's daily maid service (not negotiable) and the fact that the kitchen, very well equipped, could do with an upgrade - new fridge that cools properly, new fan over the hot rings, refurbish cupboard doors etc.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Romantic Getaway
