Steve and Nina purchased this townhome in 2008
The TV did not work. luckily we had our computer so hooked up NET FLIX. Also the hot tub had issues.
The lady looking after the condo was excellent and v very helpful however the hot tub was never hot enough and it was a hassle after a day on the hill.
I'd make sure they have these issues fix before renting.
Great private hottub , very clean , comfortable beds , great views and excellent kitchen . ( bring a hair dryer)
The bed - super comfortable
The linens and pillow - just like a 5* hotel
Includes House coat / Robes
Cleanliness: very clean
Hot tub. Perfect...nice and clean
BBQ: Did not use
Internet access: Excellent
Unit description and ad was very accurate. Pre-booking; owners were very easy to work with and while staying at the condo we had a couple of questions. We emailed them and they returned our email promptly.
The condo is well stocked and maintained. The hot tub was perfect. The resort itself was beautiful and quiet. We were there at the end of August and KHResort was not super busy! just what we needed to relax!
We did the mountain Brewmasters Dinner at Eagle Eye . AMAZING !!
We would definitely recommend this unit to our family and friends and would like to return in the future.
Great location to visit the area, this worked great as a home base for visiting Banff and YOHO National Park (lake Louise Tekkakaw falls, etc, It was so nice to come home after a day of touring to soak in the hottub.
Great layout and efficient accommodations right near the mountain at Kicking Horse. Hot tub is a nice little bonus. About a 5 minute walk to the lifts, or hike up a couple streets to the cat-track back to the gondola.
Full satellite and HDMI ready TV was a plus, as was in-kitchen laundry.
Impeccably clean and easy to book.
Great place for a short ski getaway with your brothers/sisters, a couple best friends, or for a small family. So cozy and comfortable, you won't want to go out!
Our stay at the Aspens was a great experience. The condo was exactly as described and was a great place to stay. The views were beautiful and it was within 30 minutes of most tourist attractions. Good communication with the owners and we took advantage of the restaraunt recommendations they sent us ahead of time. We thought it would be located closer to the town of Golden, so we weren't expecting the drive up the mountain, but it wasn't that big of a deal. Great place to go for a week getaway in summer! Check out Alipine Rafting company while you're here. Also, the Island Restaraunt has great Mexican food on Monday &Tuesday for a great price.
There is an extensive network of cross country and snowshoe trails near the resort.
Lake Louise, is just over one hour away.
The Icefields Parkway, a 4 hour drive from Lake Louise to Jasper, runs through some of the most spectacular mountain parks that are accessible on paved highways.
It's a 7 minute walk to the main plaza where most groceries, local and international wines and beers and other items can be bought from the 'Kicking Horse General Store'.
