Lots of room, close to Mt. Snow

We rented this house for a long weekend at the beginning of March. We were a pretty large group- 4 families- with 8 adults and 7 young kids. This house was great for a group that size, as it easily had room for everyone to fit comfortably. There is a large game/rec room on the bottom basement level, and on the first floor there is a large living room with the pictured fireplace. The kitchen and dining room were fine as well. There are plenty of bathrooms too. When we arrived the house was neat and tidy. The hot tub room was very nice, although the hot tub jets seemed like they were not working totally right. The house is located on a dirt road, up a hill, but our front-wheel drive got us up with not too much trouble. Others with AWD or 4WD had no trouble at all.
A couple things to note:
One, be sure to get specific directions to the house from the owners. There are a lot of similar houses on the road, and we ended up going to the wrong one at first. Don't trust your GPS to get you to the house, get directions as well! We called the owners feeling a little panicked, and they got us good directions right away.
Two, I sent in our deposit several weeks before our stay, but then sending in the balance of the rent slipped my mind until just before our stay. Don't expect the owners to remind you- I ended up overnighting a bank check to them.
Three, cell service is very hit or miss at the house. Some people in our group had a little service, but some had none at all.
Four, towels and linens were provided, but some dish towels for the kitchen would have been really helpful. This is a pretty minor point, though.
Overall, if you have a large group I would recommend renting this house. Several people in our group have already mentioned that they are interested in renting it again next year. We all had a great time getting together, and the house was a really pleasant place to stay.
