Welcome to 'On the Rocks', our little piece of paradise in the Florida Keys!
Caribbean-style waterfront 2 bedroom/2 bath townhouse just minutes north of historic Key West. Our townhouse has a recently updated kitchen and bathrooms. Bedrooms have new carpet and paint. We enjoyed decorating the home with colorful art from local Key West artists. And you will find all new furnishings and linens for our family and guest's comfort and enjoyment.
Our kitchen has everything you will need - plenty of cookware, dishes, utensils and glassware.
In the living room you will find a new loveseat, queen sleeper sofa, comfortable recliner and 47-inch flat-screen TV with cable and DVR. WiFi throughout the home for our guests. In addition, there are soaring vaulted ceilings as well as ceiling fans.
The master bedroom has a new king size bed, flat-screen TV, a renovated en suite bath with a natural stone shower and walk-in closet. The second bedroom, at the other end of the home, also has a new king size bed and lots of windows.
Our home is in a small waterfront community with beautiful tropical landscaping, a newly upgraded heated pool, tennis court, and the all-important boat dock. The townhouse is on an aquamarine canal that opens up into a gorgeous bay. And as everyone knows, the Florida Keys has some of the best saltwater fishing in the world!
'On the Rocks' is located on Big Coppitt Key, just 5 miles from Key West... shopping, sightseeing, great restaurants and the world-renowned nightlife of Duval Street is all just 10 minutes away!

We both grew up in Florida (now live in the Washington DC area) and have traveled annually to the Florida Keys and Key West for over two decades. As a family, we love to spend our days on the water...fishing, snorkeling, kayaking, scuba diving and boating (though we have been known to do absolutely nothing while lying by the pool!).
In the evenings we enjoy the dining and nightlife of Key West. As Harley-Davidson enthusiasts, we love riding our motorcycle up and down the Keys, exploring the various islands and their historic parks and sites. And our young daughter loves everything about Key West, including the Butterfly & Nature Conservatory, snorkeling at Fort Zachary State Park and shark fishing with her dad on the backcountry flats.
We always said that we would love to own a place in the Florida Keys, and we finally got our chance! We believe you will enjoy 'On the Rocks' as much we do.
Thanks for visiting our site. We hope to hear from you soon!

Why have a place in the Florida Keys if it's not on the water?!?!
This small community of townhouses (only 16 units) sits directly on the water and provides free first-come boat dockage (up to 25' boat). The gorgeous aquamarine canal opens into a beautiful Florida Keys bay. The dock is literally just steps from the back door. And the Florida Keys is known for some of the best saltwater fishing in the world!
'On the Rocks' is located only a few minutes north of Key West and allows us to be close to the debauchery and excitement, yet far enough away from the, well, debauchery and excitement. Downtown Key West is just a short drive for us to enjoy its great restaurants and nightlife, or we can relax at our townhouse away from the hustle and bustle of town.
Free boat dockage! Planning to bring your boat down or rent one for your stay? You will be able to keep it right behind the townhouse. We are just minutes from either Florida Bay and the Atlantic!
Key West is rich with history, from pirates to treasure hunters, and a haven for nationally-known artists and writers. And is home to the Southernmost Point of the continental U.S. and the famous nightly Sunset Festival at Mallory Square.
We enjoy fly-fishing for tarpon, permit and bonefish as well as deep-sea fishing for sailfish, marlin and dolphin (Mahi-Mahi), and can recommend fantastic fishing guides. In addition, we are foodies and can suggest terrific restaurants, whether high-end or those much sought-after local dives. Our family truly enjoys the eco-tours, by kayak or jetski... a great way to explore the Lower Keys. We have collected art for many years and can suggest galleries and artists that are worth visiting. As for the nightlife, our tastes range from live music at one of the many outdoor bars to a quiet evening on the porch with a glass of wine.
Come down to 'On the Rocks' and find out why Ernest Hemingway, John Audubon, Jimmy Buffett, Tennessee Williams, President Harry Truman and countless others fell in love with Key West.
