Sonoma Cottage Rental Photos and Description

2 Br-2Bths With Mountain And Vineyard Views

Enjoy peace and beauty in this intimate newly renovated home with vineyard and mountain views. It's in a great location on a quiet street and less than 4 miles to the Sonoma Plaza. From the front yard you will see the vineyards of Ty Caton Winery and Jack London State Park on Sonoma Mountain. Upon entering the home you will find it well appointed with high quality furnishings that are comfortable and have a modern natural feel. The well stocked kitchen has been updated with granite counter-tops, brand new appliances, a loaded wine cooler, and everything you need to create a meal at home. Both bedrooms have been designed for comfort. Each is equipped with brand new foam mattresses, new pillows, and high end sheets and bedding. The spa-like bathrooms have also been renovated with granite counters and natural stone tile. They are stocked with soap, lotions, shampoo, hair dryers, and make up mirrors.

On the back patio you will find a new Weber gas grill and expansive decks. There is a gas patio heater to keep you warm on those cool Sonoma evenings and a comfortable dining set for four. This is our favorite spot to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sun go down over the mountain...it just doesn't get better than this.

About Clay Fullerton

Clay and Dawn Fullerton. We live in Palm Coast, Florida. We have been coming to Sonoma for many years. We have finally realized our dream of buying our own vacation home and look forward to sharing it with others. I'm a buyer for Ace Hardware and Dawn is a retired high school teacher. Our hope is to one day spend as much time in Sonoma as we can, but in the mean time...Enjoy!

Why Clay Fullerton chose Sonoma

We've always stayed in vacation homes when visiting Sonoma, and have always wanted to find a place to own and rent out ourselves. When our realtor sent us pictures of this place, we knew this was it! We love Sonoma and the people here and I'm sure after your visit, you will too.

What makes this cottage unique

Location, location, location! This place is on a mountain, across the street from a vineyard, and has unbelievable mountain views...what's not to love! It's on a quiet street and it's a great place to take a walk...only 150 feet up the street there are amazing views of Sonoma from the mountain top...and even more beautiful at night! The home is beautifully decorated and close to everything...you will love this place!

I lived at Sonoma Paradise for three months. The rental property is equipped with everything you need to live very comfortably. The area is beautiful. The deck provides gorgeous views of the hills and sunsets. The front yard is a great spot for watching the deer walk down the road. I would definitely recommend this rental for long term rental. Of course, it would be perfect anytime.

Excellent place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

4 of us stayed for two nights after Christmas for a short wine tasting trip, and it was perfect for two couples! Great location, comfortable, peaceful, great views, and we wanted for nothing! We took advantage of the BBQ, outdoor heater, and of course the fireplace. We will definitely be back and won't even think of staying anywhere else.

Sonoma nest

  • 4 of 5

We were 2 couples wanting to experience the less busy (as in touristy) part of the California wine country. This is a cute home and property which was perfect for meeting our needs as a place to 'nest' after a day out in the sunshine enjoying wine and scenery. Clay was quick to send Victor (local handyman contact) after a miscommunication led to the house not being ready when we arrived in the evening. Other than that initial and brief hiccup, all was well and we especially enjoyed the open space of the kitchen living area. If we'd stayed longer, the backyard looked very inviting for a potential night to cookout. Our only suggestions would be for the deck areas to be cleaned of those pesky, pointed acorns (probably a challenge in the fall) and having the HVAC checked since it is quite loud when it runs. Wonderful place to stay, appreciated the courteous and quick responsiveness of the owners, and enjoyed the nicely appointed home (linens, furniture, appliances).

Owner's Response: Thank you for your input. We have just replaced the heating and cooling system. It works great and the noise issue is solved. It is hard to keep up with the acorns in the winter. We blow them off after each guest and every Wednesday too. Thanks again for staying with us!

Awesome place

  • 5 of 5

This is a great house for 2 couples. I would highly recommend it. It's on the outskirts of town. Perfect location for doing things in town and visiting wineries north of town. No complaints or concerns.

This adorable home is located on top of mountain avenue. Directly across the street are vineyards with breathtaking views of Sonoma Mountain and Jack London State Park. We are located within 4 miles of the Sonoma Plaza and it's many activities. If you love good wine, this is the place for you. There are over 300 wineries in Sonoma Valley and less than 20 miles away you'll find Napa Valley with it's 400 wineries...so there's always a great pour close by. There are also other activities within an hour's drive, including Bodega Bay and the spectacular Pacific Coast, see the magnificent redwoods at Anderson Woods, and also see everything the city of San Fransisco has to offer. We love to take the Benziger Tram and Wine Cave Tour, and for a great culinary experience try the Food and Wine Pairing at the Mayo Tasting Room. There are also many fantastic restaurants close by, including the Girl and the Fig, el Moleno, Cafe Citi, and the Depot...and it's hard to beat mesquite grilled chicken and an ice cold beer from one of the food vendors right down the street.

We could go on and on, but half the fun is exploring and finding your own special piece of Sonoma...this place is truly amazing!
