Cottage, 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath, (Sleeps 4-8)

Whether you are looking for a relaxing view from either of the expansive decks while you read a good book or if you prefer a bit more action out on the water, this cozy cottage situated along the east-side Keuka lakefront just 4 miles south of Penn Yan will suit your vacation needs.

The main floor consists of an open dining/living room area with television, gas fireplace, sofa bed, full size futon, bar area with view of the lake and a dining table that seats up to 6. Also on the main floor is a small, but fully equipped kitchen, 1 bedroom with a double bed, and a bathroom with shower. The lower level is the master, or family, suite with a queen sized bed, twin sized bunk beds, and nice sized bathroom with shower. Both levels have access to one of the outside decks.

The upper deck, off the main floor, has gorgeous views of the lake and beautiful sunsets. Plenty of lawn chairs, a picnic table, and a gas grill make this a great location to hang out at dinner time. This deck also gets great afternoon sun for those looking to bask in the rays.

The lower deck is covered and also has plenty of seating with several lounge chairs and a patio set. Great for when you need to get out of the sun or rain or just looking for a peaceful place to enjoy your morning coffee.

The 65' of lake frontage is perfect for swimming, fishing off the dock, or heading out on the water in your boat. Steps from the seawall lead directly into the shallow water making it perfect for the kids (and adults!) to go swimming right in front of the house. A fire pit is also located along the seawall to roast marshmallows and enjoy the nighttime lights around the lake. Also provided are a canoe, water toys, and 2 adult bicycles.

NOTE: The seasonal dock is not intended for larger boats. A mooring buoy is also available at this property for larger boats or boats that may move too much while attached to the dock during turbulent water.

Whether your vacation interests are activities on the lake or simply enjoying the lake-views and local charm, the amenities and location of this cottage will definitely accommodate your needs.

In addition to the abundance of boating, water sports, and fishing that this lake supports, this cottage is located along the Keuka Lake Wine Trail and only about 20 minutes from the Seneca Lake Wine Trail. Wine lovers will enjoy all that the local wineries have to offer. Be sure to get a taste of the local charm here in this area also. Plenty of great restaurants, Seneca Farms homemade ice cream and the local farm market, The Windmill, are among the favorites.

Just returned from a wonderful weekend away at this property. The place is absolutely lovely! Everything was so neat and well done. The kitchen is very well equipped. Both the living and sleeping areas were terrific and quite comfortable. The lake is absolutely gorgeous, and the views from both of the decks are breathtaking. It is a very short trip to many of the wonderful vineyards in the area, and a short drive to some really fantastic dining as well. The owner was very helpful through the entire rental process and provided a great bit of information that we found useful during our stay as well. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and fun place to stay!
