I am a single male living in San Anselmo, CA. My past job and business experiences, include working for a variety of different corporations, airlines insurance, department stores as display man. My education is in Political Science, BA, from Washburn University in Topeka, KS.
My true identity is artist and I am on the way to concentrate on only this aspect of my life.
I enjoy meeting people, and that is probably the main reason that I am running a vacation rental business. I must say have been fortunate enough to make lasting friendship with some of the guests who stayed in the property.
Cyrus Ansari purchased this house in 2006
This is a truly unique vacation house. When you are in Master bedroom, it gives you the feeling that you are inside a luxury cruise ship. The location is central and the access is easy to most of the most important touristic, and cultural areal of San Francisco Bay area. There is only a ten minutes drive to Golden Gate Bridge, and you are surrounded by a variety of natural beautiful views on your way. The simplicity of taking the Ferry to go to Angle Island or The city in few minutes drive or twenty minutes walk is also an added advantage of this property. The parking is easy and ample, and you do not have to drive in winding narrow road to get into or out of the house. I bought this property because I fell in love with the close up view of the water, and its ever changing colors during sunrise, sunset, moonlight. Furthermore the reflection of the lights at night and looking at the migratory birds playing all day on the bay is a precious advantage that is pricless.
Easy parking, easy comfortable floor design, views from most rooms. State of art kitchen, and a host who is anxious to please. I have built this house myself the last 6 years personally. As soon as I saw the location I immediately realized its amazing one of a kind location. It enjoys one of the most beautiful pathway right in front of it for all kind of athletic activity.
Tiburon is one of our favorite places anywhere: a beautiful town in a marvelous surrounding area, and minutes to San Francisco by ferry or car. We usually work from Tiburon for 4-6 weeks a year, and were very fortunate to occupy this wonderful property in March, 2015. Cyrus, the owner, is terrific to deal with, and responsive to any and all concerns. His home is stunning, spacious, comfortable, all modern appliances, and indeed has the spectacular views you see on line. It is across Tiburon Boulevard from the stunning shore-line running/walking path we enjoyed frequently. It is within an easy drive of the village and ferry to SF , and a few miles from Freeway 101 which takes you to SF or Napa/Sonoma Valleys. Since we were working, Cyrus equipped us with desks and phones/extra internet, but otherwise has 3 bedrooms set up as bedrooms. We felt exceptionally lucky to have a long stay here.
We celebrated a family marriage/reunion in the San Francisco region and needed a comfortable rental home for five people for five days.
The property is conveniently located in Tiburon which offers a small town feel with easy access to the city via either 101 highway or a 20 minute ferry ride. The property is clean and had an assortment of fresh cut flowers. The property description and photos are accurate.
The ground floor offers an large open space with a gourmet kitchen (including two large refrigerators). A gas range offers plenty of heat and cooking space. A large granite kitchen island is ideal for food preparation and social gatherings. A trash compactor is available. There are plenty of dishes and silverware. There are two ground floor bedrooms offering three beds. There are plenty of windows/doors facing across the water towards Sausalito.
The upstairs is the master bedroom suite and includes a private bath with a jetted jacuzzi tub and corner shower. The bed is firm and comfortable. Doors open onto a small balcony that provides a water view.
High speed internet performance is solid and predictable. Ceiling fans with remote controls are located on both floors.
We enjoyed walking to the 1.3 miles to the Tiburon ferry point. Be sure to bring a container as there are numerous blackberry bushes on the path. We also strolled along West Shire Road to enjoy the view and take in the neighborhood. We ate a wonderful breakfast at New Morning Cafe. We also enjoyed a wonderful Italian dinner at Don Antonio Trattoria (114 Main Street). We found two conveniently located grocery stores with an excellent assortment of food.
Cyrus was very friendly, helpful and attentive to detail. I would highly recommend this property.
My two sons and I had a wonderful week staying at this beautiful house. The owner Cyrus had gone above what was expected and made us feel like royalty! He is an amazing artist and his artwork was hung throughout the house to enjoy. The property was only a 20 minute drive into San Francisco. When we were done seeing all of the sights in the city we would make a quick drive back to the peaceful coastal town for the night. The restaurants in Belvedere, Tiburon are very good also. Muir woods is also close by and we hiked great trails. Overall this trip was voted best by all of us and are planning our next stay. There were two deer that would come by in the evening and sleep right outside the room that my younger son was staying in. He loved that! Overall we had two trips in one. A quaint coastal town combined with all of the sights of the big city. The views of Sausalito at night from the house are beautiful.
My family enjoyed staying at this property over the July 4th Holiday and had a wonderful experience. The property is easy to find, has phenominal views to the west looking at the Tiburon Estuary and on to Sausalito, is well appointed and to top it all off a most gracious owner. There is no doubt that we plan to visit this property again!
Tiburon library is probably the best in the county of Marin. There is always some cultural activity going on. The town is like a party town specially during the summer. They close the downtown area, and people dance, dine, and wine on the street. There is a ferry to Angle Island with its interesting history, and beach front walking area with panoramic views of the city.
