Victoria Cottage Rental Photos and Description
Canada's Best Private Beach
Midway between CHARLOTTETOWN & CONFEDERATION BRIDGE on PEI's SPECTACULAR SOUTH SHORE.
Only minutes from CAVENDISH & GOLF COURSES
Cottage comes completely equipped with fridge, stove, microwave, coffee pot, pots and pans, complimentary coffee, tea, creamo and sugar, SATELLITE TV, large furnished deck, gas BBQ, towels and linens, dishes, etc. We also provide wireless internet access, satellite television, Riff Raff Room (with games, books and movie libraries, washer and dryer), playground, basketball and volleyball, horseshoe pits and Riff Raff Raft.
Located on Prince Edward Island’s spectacular and undeveloped South Shore, the extensive sandbars make the shallow water warm and safe for children - even at high tide. There are no rip tides but there are lots of bar clams to dig and the best beach combing on the island at low tide. No cliffs make our beach easily accessible to seniors and children.
Unlike the North Shore, our beach is never crowded, the sea glass picking is excellent and there is always a treasure to find or something to poke with a stick.
And the sunsets are superb. As cottage faces west, most evenings provide a spectacular show, particularly when sunset occurs at low tide.
Don’t forget your camera. You can find a stick when you get here.
Note there is a charge ($10/day/person) for additional persons.
Due to our high volume of repeat guests (to whom we give priority on future bookings) we strongly recommend making your reservation as early as possible.
ONE (1)WEEK MINIMUM bookings preferred in high season.
We now take Visa or MasterCard although we prefer personal cheques, cash, Visa cheques or MasterCard cheques.
Pets are usually not allowed except in special circumstances and agreed to in advance by the owners. Otherwise, nearby kennels must be arranged (we can assist with the arrangements).

About Don & Lynda McCrimmon
Don and Lynda moved to PEI in 2007 and have completely renovated this spectacular beachfront property.
Don & Lynda McCrimmon purchased this cottage in 2007
Why Don & Lynda McCrimmon chose Victoria
We always dreamed of owning a beautiful place on the beach on an island full of lovely people, though we never thought we would find it in Canada. As we are almost a km from the highway the sounds are only those of ocean and birds. With the nearest public access almost 4 km away the beaches are amazingly uncrowded.
What makes this cottage unique
The waters are shallow and warm, being heated by the sun's energy stored in the dark red sands, so the water temperature is much warmer than the north shore, often by as much as 15 degrees C.
