This breath taking home is centrally located near all ski resorts and Old Town in the Holiday Ranch estate subdivision of Park Meadows. It is about 1 mile from Old Town, and a walk-able distance to the MARC, the Eccles center and the free town bus.
Snow-Beach Hill is an exquisite 2 acre private property that slopes down to a large private 1 acre front lawn (the snow beach) with a picturesque horse barn. This estate home is an architecturally significant contemporary arts and crafts style farmhouse designed by Utah architect Max Smith. The surrounding neighborhood is zoned for other 2 acre plus homes. Snow-Beach Hill is a masterpiece and the property is private, with a long circle drive and lots of yard. It has been a family retreat for many years that -- perfect for building snowmen, sledding, family snow ball wars and making fond memories.
The house has 6 bedrooms and 5000 SF of space as leased (the owners suite is locked off). The house flows beautifully and is perfect for one or two families. It can easily accommodate 10+ guests. There is an open floor plan for stylish entertaining. This home is well spaced and provides peace and privacy when fully occupied.
On the main floor (the second floor), there is a custom antique barge board 6' x 8' dining room table from New Orleans that formally seats 10, but more chairs can be added. There is an island gourmet kitchen that has an eating bar with 3 custom welded chairs, as well as a small kitchen table that seats 4. The eating areas are all open to a designer decorated living room that has a cathedral beamed ceiling. There is a stone wood-burning fireplace for chilly nights. The living room is surrounded by large windows and looks out on the surrounding hillside landscapes.
The the main floor reception area has soaring 20+ foot architecturally angled ceilings with massive tongue and grove beams which span great lengths of the gabled home.
Off the main floor reception area is a separate children/young adult wing up a private staircase. It encompasses 4 bedrooms with two shared baths (decorated as a boy's bath and girls bath) with 2 queens and 2 twins. There are loft areas (not included in square footage) accessed by built-in wooden ladders, however the loft areas are shut off for children's safety, -- opening them can be discussed with the prospective tenant to sleep up to 2 more young adults.
The first floor consists of two queen adult suites, a large den with a switch on gas fireplace, and a modest office with a desk to fit work in privately. All four rooms have flat screen TVs with Direct TV service. The den TV has a Blue-ray and a large collection of DVD's, board games and books for leisure time.
The first bedroom suite has a bath en-suite (tub and shower) and a coffee bar. The second suite has a large bedroom with an adjacent bath (shower). This second suite is adjacent to the large den and the double leading to this den can be shut off to make this entire area a larger suite -- or, the den can be left open to the house at the discretion of the renter.
There is a collection of wildlife photographs of which 11 are by renown photographer Tom Mengelson. The photos are mostly from the surrounding Rocky Mountain regions. The largest photograph is a 5 foot photo of Blondie a 4 year old Grizzly from Jackson Hole that will great guests in the reception foyer.
There is also a laundry room on the first floor with a full sized washer and dryer and a mud room entrance with ski locker storage for all guests. There are readily available sundry/toiletry/linen closets located on the first floor for guest access for additional blankets, pillows, a screwdriver or toiletries. The home has ample closet space throughout.There is WiFi service from Century-Link.
One garage stall will be available for indoor parking (although a full sized truck or suburban will not fit). The garage also has ski-racks and storage. There is no hot tub, however the community heath club at the MARC within walking distance and there is a hot tub along with a full range of gym and indoor tennis facilities.
There is a concierge assigned during your stay for check-in / checkout meet and greet to explain all the conveniences of this home for your maximum enjoyment and for you to contact if there are any problems. You will also have the owners number to contact. Other services may be provided at additional costs such as ski guides, airport pick-up, interim cleaning, and drop-off, pre-arrival grocery shopping, dining reservations, spa arrangements and other activities. There is a free safe bus service for Park City with pickups normally every 15 minutes if you do not want to drive. The bus stop is a 5 minute walk from the home and is especially useful to take to the ski mountains or to access remote venues during the Sundance Film Festival that are not walk-able.

Snow-Beach Hill has been a family retreat for us and a family legacy we hope to share with you. This is a well known home locally and one of the most impressive designs in all of Park City. The house was custom built by a retired dean of Harvard Business school by noted Utah architect Max Smith. It is simply Breath taking!

It is also a horse property with a scenic stable. It is very private and close to everything including shops, restaurants and ski areas. All within a walk, short drive or PC free shuttle.
