Enjoy the spectacular mountain views from the giant wall of windows in the Great Room while you relax in front of the wide fireplace with floor-to ceiling stone surround. The home has seven spacious bedrooms, and sleeps 14.
Gore Creek Lodge is the definition of 'Mountain Modern,' with contemporary architecture featuring bright open-plan living spaces with wide plank oak floors, and cosy carpeted bedrooms. There are three master bedrooms, featuring travertine and porcelain tiles and marble countertops. One has a large shower with integrated picture window with a view onto the aspen glade behind the house.
This custom-built home features two cedar decks, with a private high-end seven-person hot tub and entertaining area with gas grill. The professional upstairs kitchen has granite counter tops and breakfast bar that seats four. It is equipped with GE Monogram and Bosch appliances and features a cooktop with grill, convection oven, microwave/convection oven and large fridge/freezer. It is fully stocked with cookware and serving ware for holiday entertaining, and even has a large selection of dried herbs, spices and condiments.
This home features the latest high-tech gadgets. Watch NetFlix or AppleTV on the HDTV in the Great Room, with Dolby 7.1 surround sound. Watch HDTV in the upper-floor master bedroom. Use the AppleTV to stream music or videos wirelessly from your Apple mobile device to the TV and sound system, or plug in other devices using the conveniently located wall sockets. Enjoy broadband Internet using wi-fi.
The lower level features a second open-plan living area with HDTV, Premium cable with Starz and Showtime, Blu-Ray/DVD/CD and NetFlix.
The second kitchen features granite counter-tops and a spacious breakfast bar with four stools. Appliances include a fridge/freezer, oven, 4-hob cooktop, microwave and coffee maker.
The house has parking for five to six cars, depending on their size. However, we recommend the convenience of the free Vail bus.
STEPS FROM FREE VAIL BUS!
Avoid the $25/day winter parking rates in Vail Village! The house is just 1-2 minutes walk from the Ptarmigan bus stop, where you can catch the free bus to all three Vail base areas. The Cascade lift is only three minutes away, Lionshead is six minutes and Vail Village just 13 minutes. The short walk to the bus follows the valley and is easy even in ski boots.
CLOSE TO WORLD-CLASS OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
Gore Creek Lodge is just minutes from the world-class ski resorts of Vail and Beaver Creek, and the ski areas of Bachelor Gulch and Arrowhead. Copper Mountain is 30 minutes away, and Keystone and Breckenridge about an hour. Gore Creek, a couple of minutes walk, is a Gold Medal Waters fishing location. There are just too many activities available to mention here.

Please note: No smoking in the house. No pets. Not wheelchair accessible. There is a flight of steps from the driveway to the entrance. Minimum age of 25 and photo ID required for all guests unless accompanied by a parent/guardian.
