Divers welcome!

Just got back from a great Christmas vacation to Curacao and Marazul. My family, wife, son and sister-in-law, stayed in this unit.
Not much to say besides great! Unit is clean and comfortable for 2 - 4 people. Upstairs bedroom has two twins which can be pushed together for couples. Downstairs has a futon. Not the most comfortable but adequate. Kitchen was clean and well stocked with dishes, cookware and utensils.
A much appreciated addition was internet in the unit. Each unit is individually owned so some units do not have internet. There is resort wifi, but it is slow and you have to sit by the pool. It was a HUGE benefit to be able to work from the apartment, and the connection was stable and fast, good enough for VOIP calls. However, it is wired only. I brought my own Airport Express for wireless throughout the unit and patio.
The awning on the upstairs patio, one of the few at Marazul, is fantastic. Makes sitting on the patio comfortable more of the day. Facing west, these patios are almost unusable in the afternoon without the awning.
This unit is nicely set up for divers. There is a dunk tank by the pool, but this unit has lots of hooks to hang equipment to dry and a dedicated faucet in the shower to fill a bucket for masks and small items.
However, be aware that this is not a 5 star resort. All the basics are here and it quiet and comfortable, but if you want night life and fancy amenities go somewhere else. Also, another caveat, you will need a car. But this is true of most places in Curacao.
All in all, a great place that we will return to.
