Hi there!

Come check out our house in Tempe! We are currently traveling outside of the country, so our whole place is available. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, with sleeping for 8 (5 in beds, 3 couches).

The living space is huge with ceiling fans and skylights throughout, a large foyer, living room, kitchen, and sun room. Even better is the back yard, with a built in grill, and chairs to lay out in and enjoy the warm Arizona sun on your skin.

Our living room has a 42 inch lcd tv, with an xbox hooked up to it. You'll have access to Netflix and can play DVD's. We also have wifi set up in the house. Feel free to browse the book collection that is left. We sold most of our books before we took off for our travels, but there are some goodies left!

We live about 2 miles from the ASU/Mill Ave district. There are a couple good bars a block away, one is divey, the other is a good beer haven. Tempe itself is an awesome sunny place with lots to do. Buses are immediately nearby, with a light rail 3 miles away that catches the airport.

While you're here go eat at Oregano's and Four Peaks. They are sooo good! Hike South Mountain a few miles away, or Camelback Mountain 15 minutes north. Contact us if you need any other information!

I grew up in southern Illinois, and graduated from Arizona State University. I spent a couple years after college working for Christian organizations. After buying our first property, my wife and I decided we wanted to do some traveling. We are currently in China teaching English part time and enjoying a new lifestyle! Our home is very comfortable, and can sleep up to 8 on beds and couches. The living area is huge, and would be great for hanging out with family and friends. Most importantly our back yard is cozy with a built in grill and lounge chairs. Read a book, sip some coffee, and soak up the Arizona sun this winter!

What makes this house unique

When we bought this property we were originally looking for a low budget fix and flip type of house. Our realtor talked us into checking out this home, but our hopes weren't high.

Boy were we surprised! This house was previously the Arizona retirement home of a wonderful couple. In the last 20 years they had put in wood and tile floors, built an Arizona room, added lots of nice wood features, and spent an incredible amount of money on the completely landscaped front and back yard. We fell in love and made an offer that day!

SPRING TRAINING! Tempe Diablo Stadium is only 2.2 miles away .

When I'm home I love hiking Camelback Mountain. It is about 15 minutes from the house, and is a 2 hour hike to the top. From the top you can see the Phoenix area for miles! It is beautiful!

The house is very close to ASU, Mill Ave, Tempe Beach Park, The Zoo, Phoenix Botanical Gardens, South Mountain, Papago Park, and much more!

Favorite restaurants: Oregano's Italian, Pita Jungle, Buon Gusto Pizza (Gluten-free!), Oliveo's Pita Grill (Late night delivery until 3am)
