This light and spacious house is located in a quiet road in the village of Arrens Marsous, at the foot of the famous Col du Solour. Ideally situated for skiing in the winter and all mountain activities and cycling in the summer the village is well equipped with shops and a restaurant. The house has a wood burner, modern kitchen and large enclosed garden.
Tour De France 2010 !!: The Tour de France 2010 passes within 50 metres of this property on two occasions this summer, 20th and 22nd July.
Skiing: For downhill skiing there are five ski stations within 45 minutes drive of this property; Cauterets, Gavarine, Domaine de Tourmelet, Luz Ardiden, and Hautacam.
Arrens Marsous is situated at the top of the beautiful Val d'Azun. It is very close to the Pyrenean National Park and is perfect for walking, hiking, mountain biking, paragliding, or just enjoying the wonderful unspolit Pyrenees.
The village has a summer market and swimming pool, several shops and bars and a restaurant. In the winter you can ski at five different ski stations ( all within 45 minutes driving) or have a go at cross country skiing, sledging,or snow shoeing. The area is very popular with cyclists and fans of the Tour de France which has passed through the village for the last three years.
The famous Catholic shrine to St Bernadette is at Lourdes, half an hours drive away.
