The 'Legend' is a 42' Nordic Tug Trawler. Homeported in Juneau, the vessel cruises throughout Southeast Alaska. Cruises are tailored to the clients' wishes and time schedule. Typical cruises are 3 to 8 days. The boat is chartered as 'bare boat' for 4 persons. The boat can accommodate up to 6 persons, but rates are quoted for 4 persons only. 'Bare boat' includes a captain and boat amenities. Client is responsible for fuel and provisions under the 'bare boat' option. Accommodations include 2+ Bedrooms and can sleep up to 6 persons. Master suite has Queen Bed, (Sleeps 2), Guest Suite has stacked bunks (Sleeps 2) and Aft Convertible Suite (Sleeps 2). 1 bathroom in Master Suite and 1 in main boat.
The Legend has a full kitchen including outdoor barbecue.

About Robert Carnes
David and Pat Carnes are the owners of The M/V Legend. David is the Legend's Captain.
Since his arrival in Southeastern Alaska in 1970, David has been involved with boating and water activities. He worked as the mine engineer in developing an underwater mine at Petersburg, AK, owned and operated a commercial salmon gillnet fishing boat, raced sailboats, and served as the alternate captain of an oil recovery vessel. David holds an Inland Waters U.S. Merchant Marine Officer license for vessels up to 50 tons, and is a licensed Keel Boat Operator. He has captained Nordic Tugs since 2004.
Captain Carnes has made numerous boat transits from Seattle to Southeastern Alaska and is a Past Commodore of the Juneau Yacht Club.
David is a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines. He is a registered Mining Engineer and a licensed Fishing Guide with the State of Alaska.
