Enjoy two completely separate 1 bedroom apartments that are joined via a spiral staircase. 'Please note they are not available separately' The lower apartment has a very private perfume garden that are alive with Lavender, Rosemary and Jasmin. The upstairs apartment has panoramic views over Nice to the ocean. There is a secure garage for one car. This is a rare situation that is ideal for 2 couples or small family to be together but allows each their own accommodations and private space. The floors are tiled in cream travertine marble and the walls are lavishly covered in heavy textured cream fabric. The furnishings are ideally suited, the electronics and artworks are of a very high quality which provide a sense of space and charm. The boundary of the property is primarily forest, so not only is it quite and peaceful at night it is also cooler and has fresher air than downtown Nice. This is a high end gated residential property with a wonderful swimming pool and tennis court.. You wake each morning to the sound of the cigals and at dusk enjoy the view of Nice with a glass of wine and watch the swallows put on a magic show as they swoop and dive for their evening meal.
I purchased this property approximately 30 years ago and have vacationed there every year. I like to have choices each day without a lot of fuss, i don't like to battle traffic and parking every time i wont to go somewhere. Because of the location i can choose to be in Monaco or Vence in about the same time as it takes me to get across town in Nicé. I have friends who live downtown and that is great if you wish to spend the majority of your time there but its often very crowded and noisy. I like to have choices where i can venture out each day and see all that the Riviera has to offer however from downtown Nice it can be challenging and time consuming just to get to the A8.

Location, Location, Location, the property is only 15 minutes to almost anywhere you want to go Monte Carlo, St Paul D Vence or the airport. The two separate apartments, each with its own kitchen, bedroom and bathroom allow great flexibility and privacy. Having a swimming pool and tennis court are great features and the property is quite and very secure.

Our family of 4 recently stayed at this property, its was just perfect. the apartments are beautifully furnished with all the comforts of home. The view over Nicé and private garden are both exceptional. There are wonderful local restaurants nearby and our teenagers made great use of the pool and tennis court. We loved the fact that although we spent a great deal of time in NIcé you can get to most areas of the Riviera easily especially our favorite village of St Paul De Vence.
We will be back.
I stayed in this lovely home in October 2014. Everything we needed was at our disposal. Roger greeted us and was tremendous assisance to us. We came in late after a long drive from Paris, flat tire, and 4 hungry kids. Roger ordered pizza and drinks, helped us with parking and luggage and throughout our stay, was a reassuring helpful neighbour. Communication with Christopher was excellent. Home is far more impressive in person and shows pride of ownership. We felt like we were at home instead of a rental. Spotless and well equipped, we will happily stay again should we visit Nice in the future. After trawling the website, and being ever consistant, driven by detail and high standards, I set about emailing Christopher the owner. My initial quest was to establish if a wide angled lense had been used and someone else's furniture shipped in to encourage a booking!, Could the accommmodstion possibly meet the description the owner gave! I have had some less favourable experiences in the past and was not prepared to suffer another bedroom that was a bed settee in a kichen come lounge, no bigger than my bathroom . After emailing Christopher with my questions and receiving prompt, concise and patient responses, I took the plunge and booked a two week stay at Christopher's property with my partner and children aged 12 and 15. Having previously lived and holidayed along the Riviera in Eze Bord De Mer and Cap D'Ail I was slightly nervous about a stay higher up. My final decision to book was based on the swimming pool, the enormity of the space, which I would not have had nearer the sea
on my budget, completed by Christopher's openness and patience in answering my endless questions and accommodating my specific needs. It turned out there was nothing to concern myself with and to our delight the property, consisting of two apartments linked via a spiral staircase was fantastic and everything that the owner detailed, true to his word, light, airy, large, open, a great location and immaculate. The children loved having the upstairs with their own lounge etc and Roger the caretaker made all their dreams come true when he provided the wifi code - heaven, facetime! My partner and I loved having the beautiful courtyard style garden to relax in, so much so, that we are going to replicate something similar at home. I think Roger may have had a helping hand in this too, so we may need to call on his expertise ! Other accomodation has made me want to escape immediately, but not here. We were happy to use the pool every morning, eat lunch in the sunny garden or on the balcony and go out of an afternoon, prefering to use the A8 which saved so much time and queuing. Everywhere was accessible within 30 minutes from Monaco to Antibes. We travelled to San Remo Italy in 1 hour. We parked for free at the tram station 5 minutes away and took the tram to Nice as parking is difficult. It was 3 euro each return, ran frequently and until late. We would definitely recommend this property and will book again the next time we're heading to the Cote d'Azur. Fab! Fab! Fab!
Nice has been one of our favourite vacation destinations for a number of years. Having a fully equipped apartment within a private, gated, resort type hillside setting overlooking the city and ocean has made our vacation even more special.
Everything was clean, modern and spacious and the view was fabulous. My wife and I made much use of the private swimming pool which is surrounded by gardens and trees. Access to the city centre, markets, shops and beaches was easy from the nearby Nice Tramway station. Access to the main highway that runs east to Monte Carlo or west to Cannes and St. Tropez was a very short drive from the apartment. Sometimes we just stayed “home”, cooked our meals and relaxed by the pool or on our private patio garden or large balcony.
This apartment offered the best of both worlds, close access to a busy, interesting cosmopolitan city while staying in a quiet, natural setting with all of the modern amenities. Two thumbs up on this beautiful property!
The great benefit of this property is the location. If you are vacationing in this area and want to see more than the city of Nicé you will need to access the other areas via the A8 auto route, which is located less than 1km from the apartment. You can arrive in Monaco in less than 15 minutes, same for St Paul De Vence, La Turbie, Cagnes. If you are staying in downtown Nicé and want to venture out, depending on traffic it can take longer to get to the A8 than to travel to most destinations via the auto route. For those wanting quick access to downtown Nicé the electric tramway is also just 2 minutes form the apartment. The tram is fast and is an inexpensive way to explore Nicé without the expense and cost of parking. The Nicé Train station is only 15 minutes away which will take you quickly to all the main destinations on the Riviera.
