Noisy and few maintenance problems.

I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
I was more than happy with the location.
The vacation rental was very clean.
The property manager was very helpful.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

I was a little dissatisfied with this property. Although, the view was amazing the location was not to great for small children. The area is extremely loud and very touristy. The pool that you can use, the El Ferro was FREEZING cold and a little run down. Not to great for small kids. The condo itself , although pretty and updated had a few issues that were unresolved. It is sold as having a hot tub... DO NOT BE FOOLED by this, it will NEVER work. They had people work on it and supposedly it was was NEVER hot. Also, we did not have HOT water until 5 says into our week visit. NICE with kids you bathe every night. The ceiling fan was about to fall off the wall, that was never fixed. And the owners have poster size pictures of their boys all over the wall... little strange but not a big deal.
Oh, I was also told the noise level was never an issue. But, I read previous reviews and brought sound machines....THANKFULLY. The noise level is about a 10. The bass did not stop until 6am, when I was up with my 2 year old. So do not listen to the rental company it is extremely loud from 10pm on.
The maintenance staff was great. ANgie worked so hard to fix the problems but to no avail. OH and the washer/dryer unit DID NOT DRY. And bc i was told it had a working on, I only packed essentials and planned to do laundry. Luckily, the housekeeping would take it and dry for me and fold it.
Overall, the condo itself was not really what I was looking for. If you are used to 5 star vacations and places this is not for you. I think if you are on a girls/boys weekend or do not have small kids than I think you would enjoy this place.
In other words... while we were there, i booked a Disney cruise. We will not be returning to Cort0 Maltes
