2 Bedroom/2 Bath within walking distance to beach and lake.

This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom modern cabin features 2 living rooms for movie-time downstairs and the big game upstairs. Central heating and a cast iron Franklin fireplace to keep the winter chill out while enjoying cable tv, free wireless internet, a well stocked dvd/video library and family games galore. Monopoly anyone? The cabin was built in 1971 by noted area designer/builder, Virgl Wilde, with his trademark window framing, functional styling and heavy planked bar in the kitchen. Whether you are in GVL to land lunker trout, hike the forest, ski like a madman, or just watch it snow, you will want to take your boots off here.

About Owner/manager

As a kid, my family either vacationed in the cabin that my Grandfather built in nearby Running Springs, or the one that my Great Grandfather built in nearby Arrowbear. During the summer, we would fish every lake on the mountain and spend long days hiking Deep Creek.

My wife Heidi and I both grew up in Orange County, California. On our second date, I brought her to Green Valley Lake for a day of fishing. That morning we caught two 4 pound rainbow trout, and Heidi was hooked too. After renting every other cabin in the Valley, we finally purchased our place in 2007 to create a retreat for our three boys and escape the pressures that come with life in the city. While its not perfect, it certianly is heaven. The more we come to Green Valley Lake, the more we want to stay.

$40 Snow Plow fee may apply in winter.
