As returned a returned Peace Corps volunteer I value the rural, small town life. Surrounded by Cottonwood trees, and active wildlife, this is the place I can come to relax and flex my creative muscles.
Rachel purchased this house in 2002
Why Rachel chose Corrales
Located along the 300 year old irrigation ditches, this area sustains a variety of wildlife. The shade in the summer keeps the property cool, in fall, the leaves fall in stunning piles of yellow, and the view of the mountains restores the soul. Growing heritage grapes, a flock of chickens, and a couple of goats.
What makes this house unique
Where else can you enjoy country living right outside a major metropolitan area? Corrales is an old farming town, and it has a friendly community, local stores and superb restaurants. With direct access to the open space surrounding the Rio Grande, it's an ideal place to relax between hiking, skiing, or shopping excursions.
