Open Floor Plan--Two Bedrooms, One Bath. Mountain Views.

Light and airy, off-grid casita. 1300 sq.ft. with open floor plan, pellet stove keeps you warm in the winter and solar powered cooler to keep you cool in the summer. Two acres surrounded by trees connects directly to irrigation paths that lead directly to Rio Grande open space or local shops and restaurants. Relax in this small, quiet farming community right next to Albuquerque. Sleeps 2-4, in two bedrooms (Queen bed and twin bed) extra cots available upon request.

About Rachel

As returned a returned Peace Corps volunteer I value the rural, small town life. Surrounded by Cottonwood trees, and active wildlife, this is the place I can come to relax and flex my creative muscles.

Located along the 300 year old irrigation ditches, this area sustains a variety of wildlife. The shade in the summer keeps the property cool, in fall, the leaves fall in stunning piles of yellow, and the view of the mountains restores the soul.

Where else can you enjoy country living right outside a major metropolitan area? Corrales is an old farming town, and it has a friendly community, local stores and superb restaurants. With direct access to the open space surrounding the Rio Grande, it's an ideal place to relax between hiking, skiing, or shopping excursions.
