The Hudson represents a huge part of Canada's history. Originally constructed by the Hudson Bay Company in the late 1800's it was their Victoria flagship store until a few years ago, when it was closed and sold for redevelopment.
After 3 years of extensive, and sensitive restoration, the Hudson now exudes the charm of a graceful ear from years gone by, with many significant modern features, such as air conditioning, heated floors and a huge rooftop terrace with gorgeous views over downtown Victoria.
We love this building and its location, and hope you will too.
