“Lorelei” is a lovely 2 story beach cottage that has just been renovated and updated with many new and high-end amenities, furnishings, mattresses, bedding, and art. It is tastefully decorated and offers a casual and relaxed beach-house feeling. Every detail was considered to allow our guests to have the best stay possible. It is located in the private gated community of Destin Pointe on Holiday Isle, which sits at the corner of the Gulf of Mexico and East Pass.
The second floor of “Lorelei” has vaulted ceilings, cherry wood floors, 8’ solid wood doors, and an open floor plan that includes a spacious living room, dining room, and kitchen. The kitchen is fully furnished and features cherry wood cabinets, Viking stainless steel appliances including a gas range, hood, refrigerator, and dishwasher, microwave oven, Carrerra Italian Marble Counter Tops, Keurig Coffee Maker, and a bar-height counter that seats 4. The living room offers 2 large comfortable sofas, additional seating, and a large wall-mounted flat-screen television. The home is light and airy as there are many windows throughout. Lorelei also has a large front porch that provides additional outside living, great for relaxing and to watch the sunset.
There are 2 bedrooms upstairs, each with its own bathroom. Each bedroom has wall-mounted flat screen televisions. The master bedroom features a king bed and has its own private porch that offers a wonderful outside living area that’s nestled in the palm trees. The second bedroom includes a queen bed and a twin bunk bed. Both bathrooms are finished out with Italian marble, and the master bathroom includes a soak tub and shower.
The first floor has a living room with a kitchenette that includes a refrigerator and microwave, and other small appliances. It opens out to a covered patio that includes a wicker dining table with seating for 6. There is a queen bed in the 3rd bedroom and a full bunk bed (full up/down) in the 4th bedroom. The bedrooms open out to the landscaped yard and patios. It has porcelain tile floors and ceiling fans throughout. There is a bathroom on the first floor as well.
“Lorelei” has its own private pool with a jacuzzi attached, which may be heated.
“Lorelei” includes cable television, DVD players, wireless internet service, and board games for the family. 4 adult bicycles are also provided, as well as boogie boards and beach toys. Additionally, we have 2 beach chairs and umbrella reserved at the beach on the Gulf for your use and enjoyment during the season.
Destin Pointe offers private beach access to 2 beaches, the first on the Gulf of Mexico and the second located on east Pass. Both beaches can be accessed by a short walk, a bike ride, or Destin Pointe’s private tram service to drop you off and pick you up (runs seasonally). Additionally, Destin Pointe offers a heated pool and jacuzzi, a second saltwater pool, tennis courts and shuffle board.
