Honeymoon Point Cabin & Cottage
Located on 100 feet of sandy beach on 985 acre Lake Nebagamon, Wisconsin- Honeymoon Point Cabin & Cottage sits on a wooded acre of level lakefront with room for 18 people to sleep comfortably. There are two cabins at Honeymoon Point- 1 large modern and totally remodeled cabin and 1 rustic, quaint and seasonal cottage.
The Main Cabin: is a year round, totally remodeled three level, 5 bedroom and 3 ½ baths home that sleeps 18 people.
Cabin Main Floor: There is a modern kitchen on the main level with a stocked pantry of basic spices and necessities. There is also a Viking refrigerator, a Thermadore range and granite countertops with a granite island as well.
The Master bedroom is located on the main floor- with a king-sized bed, a Master bath and Jacuzzi – as well as a giant walk-in closet and a view of the lake
There is a comfortable family room off the kitchen with reading nook and deck – all overlooking Lake Nebagamon.
Cabin Basement: has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, a card table and 54” cable TV equipped with Apple TV and as well as an iPod dock. This level walks out directly towards the lake with a concrete patio outside the sliding glass door.
Cabin 3rd floor: has two bedrooms, large closets and a one bathroom and shower – each bedroom has a queen size bed. One room faces the lake and one room faces the driveway area.
There is Wi-Fi through-out the home, an on demand water heater, air conditioning as well as a washer and dryer.
The home has recently been remodeled and all furniture, mattresses and linens are brand new.
The Game Room: is a heated 900 square foot garage that has been remodeled into a giant game room with an acid stained concrete floor, 64” cable TV, a rustic bar, a pool table and a full size Golden Tee video game.
The Cottage: is a quaint 3 bedroom and 1 bath seasonal cabin that could easily sleep 6 people during warm months. The Cottage has a front porch with windows that open to the lake with a day-bed and a card table. There is a full, small kitchen with a fridge and stove and microwave.
The Cottage has a bathroom with a shower and running water (no water in winter). The Cottage does not have air conditioning- but it does have heat.
The Cottage has all new carpet, wood floors, new tile and brand new linens and towels. There is no TV in the cottage.
The Beach & Lake: Lake Nebagamon is a 950 acre lake that is 54 feet at its deepest. There is one bar/restaurant on the lake and a Dairy Queen right on the lake as well… just a short boat ride directly across from Honeymoon Point. You could boat right across the lake to the bar for a drink and burger and stop by DQ for an ice cream!
The shoreline is sandy and free of weeds- and has a very gradual drop-off until you are about 30 feet from shore. There is a long dock to fish and jump off as well. In town there is a public beach, playground and floating raft.
The Sauna: is located right next to the sandy beach- close enough to get heated up and run and jump off the dock!
