Quiet location cute house; No Wifi or Cell; More rustic than expected; Great if you want isolation

The cottage is remarkably quiet and relaxing. The size of the property allows of a nice sound buffer and is therefore very relaxing. There are goats and chicken and an aviary on the property that make it fun for younger kids.
Although the property advertises Wifi/Internet, it is unusable. The owners tried to get it working and at the end of the 3rd or 4th day there was a trickle, although still unusable.
There is no Cell signal either. So, if like me, you were planning to get some work in, you will likely be disappointed.
The yard is large, but is mostly slushy marsh. Bring your waders or old shoes. We had good weather but it was still a mush pit. The property is low and there is a pond in the middle. So, just expect mud and you won't be disappointed.
The dock is nice, however, Mitchell bay is a mud bay - the row boat is usable only when the tide is high. Make sure you get back before the tide goes out. There are no tide pools to explore and no fish or crabs or other sea creatures to be found in the mud.
The house is cute. The kids loved the loft. Two of the three heat registers were broken. The owner supplied portable heaters that were ok. That and the wood stove that needs to be tended couple of times a night left us quite chilly.
Also, the refrigerator - as they say, is under counter and the freezer is tiny - like those hotel minibars. So, don't bring too much frozen food. There is no dishwasher either - good opportunity to teach the kids about the old days :)
