Casa Arriba is a beautiful, new 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom compound with breathtaking vistas of the sea all the way to Punta de Mita, the mountains, jungle and the pueblo. It is located high up in a peaceful, jungle setting with the sounds of ocean waves and crickets to lull you to sleep. Each bedroom-bathroom suite is housed in a separate Casita, as is the Cocina, affording the utmost in privacy for discerning guests. The Casitas are contemporary and are constructed from natural, local materials. Visitors may feel they are in the Greek isles, Italy or other beautiful parts of the world. Art is featured throughout the Casa and much of it is for sale. Each casita features tall ceilings with beams and patate mat impressions, private stone and marble bathrooms plus a private balconies with non stop views. One of the two (Casita Blanco) features a kitchenette, while Casita Azul on the upper level boasts the most gorgeous sea view in the house. The cozy stone room (Casita Piedra) features high beamed ceilings and a charming bathroom with a copper sink located directly outside the room.

Rent one or more. All have use of the main Cocina Casita which is fully stocked with kitchen utensils, etc. And eat inside or at the beautiful banquette and table in the garden outside while having morning coffee on your private balcony or at the table overlooking the ocean.

About Bonnie Metzer

Bonnie Metzger is a painter (FB Bonnie Metzger Artist) who designed and built Casa Arriba. Prior to moving to Mexico, she had traveled to this country and fallen in love with the culture and people and returned to San Francisco to close her 18 year old public relations business to create a new, inspired lifestle. Her PR background includes launching Steve Wozniak the inventor of the Apple Computer worldwide with his Us Festival music/technology extravaganza; Prince on 'Purple Rain'; Ringling Brs. and Barnum & Bailey Circus for 20 years and many other blue chip clients. Her paintings are available for sale at Casa Arriba and are inspired by the circus and Mexico's culture.

Each Casita is designed with attention to detail and include Patate mat impressions in the high pitched cement ceilings; some copper sinks; stone showers and floor details; abundant stone foundation and walls; poured cement floors; charming decor and art everywhere. The garden is lush and boasts banana, lime and papaya trees and a large banquette and table fit for a fiesta.

What makes this house unique

There is no other house in Sayulita like Casa Arriba. The first thing one sees is the view and it's a knock-back reaction every time.The jungle birds, ocean waves and crickets lull visitors to sleep and there are early am roosters, late night music noise to disturb your peace. The Casa is in a hidden area above the congestion and dust; it is pristine and one of the nicest areas in Sayulita.

  • Casitas Blanca on the main level, and Casita Azul on the upper level have gorgeous views. Casita Piedra on the main level is a gorgeous cozy, high ceiling stone room with double and single beds. All rooms have art, lovely linens, beach towels, soap, and guest gifts. The Casitas are sophisticated yet understated, charming and comfortable and cause a WOW when seen. All beds have romantic mosquito netting and comfortable mattresses.
