This secure complex with 29 luxury villas is perfect for a family holiday. Situated on the Cascais coast under 10 minutes drive into the centre it is perfectly suited for up to two families with children. All modern appliances with home from home facilities. Perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring the local area and Lisbon or Sintra. Has a small supermarket nearby and a typical café where you can join the locals for a small coffee 'bica' and a sandwich at breakfast time or have a plate of the day at lunch time. Alternatively, just stroll down for your morning bread.

Within a 10minute drive, there are many walking routes in the mountains (parts of it protected by World Heritage) behind Cascais, if you wish we can provide information and/or contacts to the local walking groups here.

Very large and spacious 4 bedroom villa located within a 5 minute drive of Old Town Cascais and the coastline near Guincho. It is also just 12 to 15 minutes from the beautiful town of Sintra and 25 minutes drive to Lisbon. The villa is set in a quiet location with beautiful gardens and pool area. Villa provides sun bed for around the pool in summer which never gets crowded. A really nice friendly & relaxed local atmosphere (this is not a tourist resort).

A short walk from the villa and you have on hand a small supermarket / bakery / butcher shop as well as a local coffee shop which serves from breafast time to lunch time when you can go over and have the 'prato do dia' (daily local menu).tastes. The bus stop into the centre of Cascais is near to here and you can get the bus into the centre at very regular intervals during the day.

There is a chicken restaurant futher along the street from the villa (an easy walk) where you can enjoy some local faire.

Cascais Marina is great for good food and atmosphere. Sit among the boats and enjoy the sunset from the top deck. Also try the restaurants along the Guincho Road. Ones that stand out are Furnas do Guincho and Monte Mar (be prepared to pay a small price premium for great service and fantastic views and atmosphere).

The Artisan Fair in Estoril (behind Casino) each July and August offers handicraft and a variety of restaurants serving traditional food. Bicycles can be hired locally (no charge) in Cascais and there is a bicycle path which stretches for miles along the beautiful coastline to Guincho Beach. From Cascais there is a regular bus service to Guincho Beach, #405. The #403 will get you to Sintra. Please see our site Portugal Portfolio for more details of local amenities etc.
