House: 2 bedrooms + loft; 2 bathrooms. Sleeps 6

Tranquility near Sonoma Plaza at this fresh and sleek garden house.

Two bedrooms, with adjoining two private baths, plus loft with trundle bed (two twin beds). Ideal for two couples or maximum of six guests. Perfect get-away for enjoying downtown Sonoma and surrounding wine country. Two-minute drive to the Plaza and Sonoma Market. Quiet tree-lined street, easy to find.

All furniture and beds are new, including wall-mounted flat-screen TV with cable. Charming gas jet fireplace with marble hearth in the living room. Windows with garden view throughout.

Everything you need in our fully-stocked kitchen, including cooking staples, Starbucks or Peet’s coffee, fresh fruit, and fresh herbs (on the back patio).

You will be welcomed to our home with a bottle of wine (or maybe two!).
About Linda Carlin

Nancy and Linda have been friends for more than 20 years, and have just purchased The Solano House together. Nancy lives in Sonoma and works in the wine industry, so can give you all the inside scoop on the best places to visit. Linda lives in Denver and works at the University of Colorado.

What makes this house unique

The house feels like it's in the country, even though it's right in downtown Sonoma. There are large windows throughout that overlook a peaceful garden in the back and a tree-lined street in the front.

Nice sunny patio and comfortable beds! Good location close to the main square and all those great restaurants. Hosts were super easy to work with and accomodating.

Sun-filled retreat

The Solano house is a lovely sun-filled retreat in Sonoma in a convenient location. Nancy and Linda left us with a well-stocked kitchen, a thoughtfully equipped home, and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. We found them flexible and generous hosts and would love to revisit their home.
