About Marc

Growing up in New York, then living to Northern California, I moved to Tarpon Springs 12 years ago to settle down and start a family. My wife and our 3 girls ages 5, 7 and 14 love this amazing Florida weather and lifestyle.

Our stay on this property was for 5 nights and we chose it due to its close proximity to the family members we were visiting in Tarpon Springs and because of the beautiful photographs of the home! The pictures were spot on regarding the view and accommodations! We were not mislead! We were always informed that we could ask any questions of the owner but did not ask many at all! We would recommend that one take the opportunity to ask about any specifics regarding the property, especially if you have problems negotiating steps or walking on uneven surfaces. The many levels provide much exercise for the visitor! If you require a certain level of beach and pool side ammenities, you may want to inquire as to what they provide. Would have liked a restroom nearer to the pool but we had no problem climbing stairs to find one. Our elderly mother couldn't enjoy the pool and beach/dock area because she can't handle all of the stairs. However, that was our issue for not asking! We loved everything else about the unit. May want to bring your own bath towels or sheets if you require a better quality of fabric. Patio furniture and linens were weathered a bit more than we imagined they would be. The owner claimed that he addressed the issue of needing a cooler temperature in the unit. We were a bit warm at times and he said he would put in an additional AC unit upstairs. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did! Remember to ask specific questions. No question is a bad one! It can only result in NO surprises! The owner was very accommodating and easy to deal with. He was very attentive to our needs.

In response to you requests, I am adding more seating downstairs by adding a dining set in the rec room joining the pool. In regards to the lower level bathroom, unfortunately. Florida does not allowed any plumbing whatsoever on the ground floor of stilt homes. So no bathroom or sink can be added. I wish I could! Look forward to your visit again.

We really enjoyed our recent vacation in Tarpon Springs. The house was great! We felt very comfortable there. The house was perfect for our young family, very safe with lots to do for the kids. The pool was their favorite for sure. Though we had cooler weather than we were hoping, we still took advantage of the heated pool several times a day. The views were awesome to wake up to and enjoy all day long. The house was well stocked with all we needed to enjoy a home away from home. We would love to come back and stay there again.

My family visited this property in March and enjoyed every minute of it. The owner went out of his way to make us feel welcomed and any questions that we had were answered in a timely manner. The only problem we had was deciding if we should stay at the house and use the pool, or go to the beach (Howard Park) that was only minutes from the house. This home definately has a lot of stairs to go up and down, which helps keep those extra vacations pounds that we all gain to a minimum.

FUN ON THE GULF FRONT

We spent a week enjoying this beautiful Gulf Front home in early February. The home sits at the end of a penninsula looking toward the causeway to Fred Howard Beach. We loved the gorgeous views from the 2nd & 3rd Floors, hubby caught lots of fish from the end of the dock, and we enjoyed warming up in the hot tub during the chilly February evenings. The property was very clean and well appointed. Marc, the owner, was very responsive when we called with a few questions. The location is very convenient to Tarpon Springs and the Sponge Docks. Can't wait to return!

Lovely Home

My wife and I are from Ohio and wanted to warm our bones. We found this home last minute and boy were we suprised! This place is right on the gulf with views for miles. We walked on the beach, shopped on the sponge docks and soaked up the sun. Our favorite restaurant is Ballyhoo a local seafood place. We definitely recommend this place!
