This classic 2250 sq. ft. cabin is on a beautiful wooded lot overlooking a creek and the upper mountain golf course, close to everything, and with winter views of the slopes. The views are amazing and the location within the resort is ideal.
The deceptively large cabin is a great space for two families, small groups, and kids of all ages.
NEW FOR SUMMER 2013 - We have purchased access to the Massanutten Property Owner's Association mountain-top outdoor heated pool for all of our summer guests (opens Memorial Day Weekend). The pool is located near the top of the mountain directly across from the mini golf course and adjacent to the ice cream stand. It's a great space to spend a summer day.
The cabin features three levels of living space, three bedrooms, three full bathrooms (all remodeled Winter 2012), a well-appointed kitchen (remodeled Spring 2013), a rec room with 42' flat screen and Apple TV, a playroom for the kids, a flat driveway (a luxury around here in the winter), and a large wrap-around deck with a BBQ grill.
The spacious great room has an open floor plan, vaulted ceilings, exposed wood beams, and plenty of windows with mountain views from everywhere. It's a classic A-frame style decked out with brand new modern furniture and fixtures, a 42-inch flat-screen TV, and blue-ray DVD player (Netflix streaming included).
The great room opens to the kitchen, which was remodeled in 2013 to include all new appliances and a large granite island w/ 3-seat bar.
The main level also includes two bedrooms (queen and 2-twin), and a newly remodeled full bathroom.
The upper-level loft is a comfortable and private third bedroom (master/king) and brand new full bathroom.
The finished lower level includes a spacious rec/family room with a futon (double bed equivalent), club chairs, a 42-inch flat-screen TV, Apple TV (Netflix streaming and NBA League Pass included), a small pool/air hockey table, a newly remodeled full bathroom, and a playroom.
- For the kids -
Every vacation home has a few board games and a deck of cards (this home is no exception), but we know how excited our own kids are when they find something new... so our playroom is stocked with blocks, dinosaurs, cars, puzzles, books, crayons... etc. So there is plenty to keep even the little ones entertained on a rainy day. We also have an assortment of gear (pack and play, foot stools, baby monitor, booster seat, etc.) to lighten your load and make your stay more comfortable. We designed and furnished this cabin with our own family in mind. We love the outdoors and open spaces, and we love the look (from the outside) of a classic rustic cabin... But inside we wanted CLEAN (our home ALWAYS will be) and we wanted modern decor and amenities. We offer high speed wireless internet access, two flat-screens TVs, blue-ray/DVD player, Apple TV (Netflix streaming included), and a fully stocked kitchen for all your culinary needs.
- Things to do -
We're located near the top of the Massanutten Resort, not more than five minutes from all resort activities including the ski slope, indoor/outdoor water park, year-round tubing, two golf courses, go-karts, mini-golf, ice skating (seasonal), horseback riding, fishing ponds, playgrounds, and fantastic hiking. We have also purchased summer passes to the mountain-top outdoor heated pool for all of our guests. And of course, you can venture outside the resort to the nearby Shenandoah National Park, Shenandoah River, Luray Caverns, local wineries, lavender farm... etc. Options for outdoor entertainment in The Valley are endless.

We always provide our guests with the kitchen, bath, and households essentials that we would appreciate: linens and towels, assorted spices, cooking oil, sweeteners, paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, hand soap, laundry detergent, other cleaning supplies, flashlights, and extra blankets.
