This charming finca enjoys a private location just 1km from the historic old town of Pollensa with the dramatic backdrop of the Tramuntana Mountains, 4km inland from the coastal resort of Puerto Pollensa. Situated just off the old beach road from Pollensa to Puerto Pollensa. The approach to the property takes you through a river ford where you arrive at this delightful property. Inside there are 3/4 bedrooms, two bathrooms and two lounges, one with sky tv decoder and WiFi broadband access.Outside set in 4000m2 there is a fantastic private pool, plenty of sun loungers provided and a separate kids play area with play frame, trampoline and a basketball ring to keep the little ones amused. For the grown ups there is a built in stone BBQ with dining area, ideal for long leisurely lunches or alfresco evening dining. Separate shady sitting areas can be found around the garden for quiet reading spots or pre dinner aperitifs, everything is in place for that perfect relaxing family holiday.

House & Garden: The house was originally built approximately 100 years ago and is typical of the traditional stone built houses you see in this part of the island. The garden has a range of fruit trees which include citrus,pomegranate, olive, Mallorquin apricot, fig, walnut, almond, carobs and grape vines. There is a large traditional Mallorcan wood bread oven in the garden between the terrace/dining area and the pool which in years gone by served as the oven for all the houses nearby.

The photographs that are shown were taken in early December 2009, the garden is very green and lush, there are lot more colours from the different flowers that bloom during the spring and summer months.

The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, oven, 4 ring hob and larder fridge, behind the house there is a utility room with washing machine, and large American style fridge freezer. Outside in front of the utility room there is an outside WC

Inside the House: The Finca is full of the traditional charm that you would expect in this part of the Island. There is a pleasant mix of styles with modern features blended with the traditional charm, there are interesting modern art works throughout the property. There are two sitting areas one with TV and sky TV decoder, WIFI high speed broadband internet service is installed. The house comfortably sleeps 8 people. One of the bedrooms can have it´s own access from the outside if required which can be benefitial for families with older children or two family groups.

Outside there is a great area with a stone built Bbq and comfortable seating area under a shady terrace were you can see the pool if you have young children. In the garden there are several seating and eating areas were you can enjoy the outdoor life that Mallorca offers.

There are several grassed lawn areas and plenty to keep the younger ones busy. The old town is a short walk away and the famous Plaza Major can be reached in 20min

Many thanks for the lovely week we had at your Finca "Can Roca". It was lovely to sit and relax by the pool in such a tranquil setting. It is unusual to find such a cormfortable place in Mallorca or Spain, we felt very lucky we had picked your house. We had a few nice meals out in town at No.8 and Il Gardino and would highly reccomend this house to couples and families with kids alike.

Can Roca, Pollensa

We were looking for a Spring Get-away for two families and after some research chose Can Roca which is situated just outside Pollensa.

The property was as described and the garden area was a lot larger than that shown on the photos. Our little boy , aged 2 1/2, loved running around and exploring. The trampoline and slide were great and well used during our stay. The location was secure with gates at the front of the property.

The fittings and furniture were of a high standard and the various seating areas around the property meant that there was space to escape and gain some quiet time if required.

The owner was there to greet us when we arrived and provided a tour of the facilities , he also provided some really useful advice about the local area. In addition there was a information folder provided with the villa that gave some more hints and tips for good restaurants and things to do in the locality and beyond. We had no problems during our stay , however if we had, having met and spoken with Colin the owner I had confidence that any issues would have ben resolved swiftly.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this property it was lovely and just what we were looking for. It is Situated about 1km outside Pollensa on a quiet road and so I would recommend that that having a car would be worthwhile to make the most of the location. The nearest Beach is about 4 km and we managed to visit a number of them during our stay as well as markets in Pollensa and Alcudia.

Beautiful Town House - Pollensa

What a lovely place the town house turned out to be, really peaceful, a great place to chill and relax. The house itself is in a perfect spot in the old town and is well laid out with everything you might need. It's lovely and cool on the inside, on what turned out to very hot days, and had the added benefit of a pool in a secluded courtyard that wasn't overlooked - great for a dip after several hours on a bike! There's also a lovely sunken bath in the bathroom where you can while away the time with a nice glass of red, before either dining out or eating in.

We've stayed in Majorca before and fell in love with the old town of Pollensa and it's Sunday market so the house was ideally situated to explore the town at our leisure. We found some very good restaurants, one just a few hundred meters from the house, and great cafes for breakfast. There a really good supermarket only 10 minutes on foot, a couple of minutes by car, from the house offering a great selection of local wines, cheeses etc. Port Pollensa is a 10 minute car ride away, 20 minutes by bike or an hour on foot and is a lovely seaside town with a great beach. This is also the place where we hired a couple of mountain bikes for 2-weeks and was recommended by the villa owner.

We will definitely be returning to stay in Pollensa and wouldn't bother looking for anywhere else to stay as this townhouse was just PERFECT!

Gorgeous villa in a beautiful setting

We just had 2 wonderful weeks at Villa Can Roca with our extended family.
The grounds are beautiful, secluded and extensive with lots of different areas to cater for the children as well as the grandparents.
The villa was beautiful, full of character and had everything we needed.
The location was great too, 20 minutes walk in to town and 10 minutes drive from the beaches of calla san vincente.
Colin was very hospitable.

We stayed at this finca in September 2010 with my elderley and slightly infirm mother and 5 month old baby.

The finca is located a short, flat walk from Pollensa old town and is wonderfully secluded and tucked away off a good road dotted with other villas. Due to the unique location of "can Roca" it is totally private which is really nice as many villas in this area have their gardens backing on to, or directly next to a road. Can Roca is totally private and secluded. It is also a short drive or taxi ride to Porto Pollensa which offers yet more options for dinning out and shopping etc and of course the beach. There is a really good supermarket close buy which is very well stocked and not too expensive.

The house itself is beautiful. The gardens are well established and immactulately maintained, with a good sized pool which is also well maintained and very clean. There are several areas to eat within the grounds including a lovely sitting area furnished with sofas which is a nice touch for evening relaxation.

The house is furnished in a style that really complements the character of the house. The beds were good quality and very comfortable with nice linen and nice quality towels provided. Plenty of storage space for clothes and baby parafinalia as well !

The house has two lounges, one with a TV which would be great for families with kids or teenagers. The bedrooms are really good sizes and well laid out. The lay out would really suit either groups of couples or 2 families each with 2 children. The kitchen is very well equipped and the whole finca was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The house also has wifi and internet which is also a big plus.

The owner of the property, Colin, actually manages it himself and I think that gives a much better quality of service than you get from other villas we have stayed in where reps manage the property. Whilst we had no problems or issues for him to sort out, he was incredibly helpful with his knowledge of the area, arrangements for car hire and where to go shopping and nice places to visit etc. There are some really great restaurants in the area and he directed us to several of these which were all really nice.


We had a wonderful stay and would definitley return in the future. Many thanks for a wonderful holiday, The Grace family."

Perfect Holiday

A beautiful spacious farmhouse set in pretty tranquil gardens, with lovely pool and fantastic mountain views. The property has been refurbished to a very high standard with all the amenities you could wish for and spotlessly clean.
This is a relaxing place to holiday away from the crowds but within
walking distance of pretty Old Town Pollensa and its many restaurants
cafes and Sunday Market.
A wonderful stay, can't praise it or the owners enough. Thank you.

The property is located just off the old beach road from Pollensa to Puerto Pollensa. The old town has a fine selection of pavement cafe bars, shops and restaurants within walking distance. Close by is the challenging 9 hole golf course Pollensa ,and the coastal 18 holes of Alcanada 10km away. Pollensa Bay with its beautiful coastline and sandy beaches is a short drive away were you can enjoy more culinary and shopping delights, a little further north will take you to the exclusive bay of Formentor where members of the royal family have holidayed. Winston Churchill also frequented the Hotel there and even today you are likely to brush shoulders with powerful politicians and high society celebrity who enjoy this Caribbean like setting. The fantastic market can be found on a Sunday at Pollensa
