This cottage is located in the Haliburton Highlands with beautiful scenery and some of the most pristine natural forest and wildlife.
The location of the cottage is on Kennisis Lake - the largest lake in the Haliburton Highlands. Since 2003 approximately 100 executive homes have been built on the west shore of Lake Kennisis.
Located near Algonquin Park one of the largest nature reserve parks in Canada and the Haliburton Forest and Wolf Centre. A private nature reserve open to the public with camping, hiking, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, nature walks, 'walk in the clouds'-world famous tree top walk. The Wolf Centre offers visitors the opportunity to observe wolves in their natural habitat.
The local towns of Haliburton and Minden host festivals, fairs, and other activities throughout the summer months for those seeking to experience a feel for the local neighbourhoods.
In the winter months this area is the best known for great Snowmobiling and has some of the most challenging sledding trails in the province of Ontario. Downhill and cross-country skiing is available at the local Sir Sam's Ski Resort.
