The country setting of this charming 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin on a hay and cattle ranch is a great for a peaceful get away vacation or event filled trip. It has a fully equipped kitchen with oven . It has dishes and cooking utensils for enjoying a home cooked meal away from home. There is a bedroom with a queen sized bed a private bath and walk-in closet. The second bedroom has a double bed and there is a second full bathroom with a shower/tub combination. There is also a room with a long single bed. Television and a washer, dryer, ironing and ironing board are added amenities
Enjoyed gardening and farming all of my life. Look forward to sharing the country experience with visitors to the Central Coast
Cecilia Silva purchased this cabin in 2012
Look forward to providing a unique vacation location for people to have great memories of their visit to the Central Coast of California.
You will be in the heart of wine country with many award wining wineries to visit or travel the short distance to many of the great beaches.
Our family of four spent a few days here and really enjoyed it. We had never visited the Paso Robles area and wanted something with more space than a hotel room. This house was perfect for that. Just enough space for everyone and the boys liked having their own rooms. The area is scenic and really relaxing. It was also very close to the freeway, Trader Joe's, restaurants, etc. So even though it was quiet and felt remote, it was just a short drive to everything.
The outside patio area is huge and I appreciate it being fenced in, which would be great if you had smaller kids. The owners gave us our privacy and I only saw one of them from a distance. For the price, I have no complaints. However, it was slightly annoying that the dishwasher wasn't working during our visit...who wants to wash dishes on vacation?? The one TV had minimal channels, so a DVD player would be a nice addition. The house was comfortable and clean and most of it seemed new or fairly updated. I would definitely recommend this over a hotel.
This was a great get away for our family. The house is very comfortable and has the needed technology (WiFi and Cable) to keep our kids happy. It also has large metal gates around the house, that although they are loud to open, they were great at keeping our kids inside the yard of the house. Only our 7 year old was able to open the gate, so our 2 and 4 year old were safe inside the yard and able to play on the large deck without use worrying about them.
The Ranch is very quiet, and we were event able to ride bikes with the kids.
I would stay here again. It is also a great location - you are 1/2 hour from Morro Bay, or Avila Beach, and there is plenty to do in the area as well. A Zoo, Air Museum, Parks, and great independent restaurants for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
What a lovely, serene, spot! We loved looking out at the vast view and watching the bulls in the pasture. The goats and baby calf also added to our fun.
Cecelia and David were great, affording us total privacy. David does run a hay business, so there were times of noise when huge trucks of hay were being unloaded, but it was kind of cool to watch and did not last long.
We also enjoyed collecting fresh walnuts and pomegranates to eat. Would love to return.
Their pet friendly policy was the best part of all! Many thanks,
The photos do not give this ranch justice! I fell in love with the beautiful quilts throughout the beautiful cabin & the breathless scenery that surrounds it. This is a great place if you are looking to wind down & enjoy life. The owners are fantastic to work with & keep this entire property nice & tidy. Can't wait to go back again!
If you need a tranquil place to get away from it all, this is it. Just far enough away from the highways, crowds and city bustle, this place will take your stress away. We found ourselves retiring to the large porch area before sunset enjoying the views of the oak trees and pasture. We shared the house with another small family and found it to be just right for the kids. It was very easy to unplug and just enjoy the setting and our friends company. We hope to be back someday soon!
We had a great stay at a bargain rate! We really enjoyed the ranch setting, and our city dog was more than intrigued by the goats and cows nearby. The covered deck was a definite bonus. The booking, check in and checkout processes were totally painless.
