Well kept facilities and quiet location, Granite counters, patio w/ table and chairs. Microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, ironing board and iron, fully furnished with dishes, linens and more.

I live at La Tierra during most of the winter and purchased this property for vacations rentals. I'm a lawyer living in Iowa, went to ASU, been in the real estate rental business for 30 years.

Why Mark Mershon chose Tempe

La Tierra is well managed and keep up; was giving a total facelift 5-7 years ago; super location to everything in the valley. Pool heated all winter, great neighbors, many seasonal. Layout is great and comfortable, bedrooms separated. Since graduating from ASU in 1975 I came back each winter for a few weeks, now I can do it most of the winter. Once I purchased my place here I knew others would really enjoy staying here also. Hope you'll come give it a try.

What makes this condo unique

I tried to put just about everything I'd want in a place into this condo unit. You'll love the tile floors in the entry, dining area, kitchen, hallways, patio and bathrooms, yet carpeted for comfort in the living room and bedrooms. Short walk to the pool where many vacationers hangout each afternoon enjoying the AZ sun, then grilling on those beautiful nights, and you can't beat those sun sets. Areas are well lit at night and you in a safe community.

Shopping etc. downtown Tempe 4 miles, Scottsdale, 10 miles, Mesa 7 miles, Phx Suns, AZ Cardinals, ASU Sports, Coyotes Hockey, several Casinos w/in 5 miles, 40 minutes to Goodyear Nascar track; hot air balloning in valley. 5.5 hours to Vegas, 1.5 hours to Tucson, 2 hours to Sedona. On city bus route.

Our stay at this condo was very very pleasant. The comfortable furnishings and tasteful decor were top notch, and the appliances were new, current and very clean, as was the entire unit. We particularly enjoyed good cafes and restaurants within walking distance or close proximity, and several golf courses that were reasonably priced. The owner was attentive and prompt to any needs, and graciously made himself available to answer any questions. The quiet neighborhood and pool was a plus. I would recommend this property to others, and will consider staying here again. We were very satisfied with our stay.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

Upon arrival you first notice how neat the grounds are, the condo is spacious, nicely decorated and very well thought out.I enjoyed sitting out on the patio which was shady and offered some privacy.The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing a snack, or a full blown dinner. The sitting room has comfy leather chairs to watch the big screen TV. The beds are very comfortably, queens i believe. The complex has a fairly large heated pool and hot tub, of which we used both extensively, there also gas grill located by the pool area. The condos are very close to grocery stores, restaurants, bars and golf courses. The ASU campus is a short drive. I would strongly recommend this property to those folks looking for a nice vacation.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers

Place was just as described. Very clean and owner tried to think of all that was needed to make the stay enjoyable. He did a great job. I would absolutely recommend this rental. Walking distance to stores and friendly neighbors.
