Private Single family home - 3 Bedrooms + loft + Den (Sleeps up to 10)

This spectacular single family home in Vail is warm, comfortable and great for entertaining. It has easy access to world class skiing, restaurants, shopping, hiking and all the activities and entertainment Vail has to offer. Our home is perched upon the mountain providng complete privacy as well as spectacular views of the entire Vail Valley.

The wrap around balcony and expansive glass windows face east up the Vail Valley, north towards Lionshead/Vail and west onto the National Forest. Relax in the private 5 person Hot Tub that sits besides the forest looking down the Valley and up towards the stars. Feel like you are on top of the world with the best views in the valley

This private home has 3 bedrooms, each with a King size bed. The Master Bedroom faces east up the Vail Valley and has a private master bath. The 2nd Bedroom faces west towards National Forest and has a ¾ bath. The 3rd bedroom faces east up the Vail Valley and has a full bath.

The house also contains a private Office/sleep Loft which has a 'comfortable' pull out couch that sleeps two and a desk if you must get some work done.

The Den/TV room, off the 3rd bedroom is the TV/Movie room with a second kitchen/Bar area for entertaining. The den also has a 'comfortable' pull out couch that sleeps two.

The Great Room, off the main kitchen, has vaulted ceilings, an enormous moss stone fireplace (gas) and a Hearthstone wood burning stove. This home is warm and comfortable with plenty of seating for relaxing with friends and family while enjoying the spectacular views.

This mountain home is a one of kind home that will make you feel on top of the world, completely private and secluded, yet in the thick of things. There is a private garage for storing skis and the car, easy access to the slopes, restaurants, shopping and the shuttle.

Why Glen Goldman chose Vail

This property was purchased as a family getaway where we could enjoy skiing in the winter and the great outdoors in the summer. Our children love to explore the forest and hunt for seashells (yes, there are sea shells everywhere). When we saw the view, we were sold. The interiors are warm, cozy and comfortable. Sitting on the deck, drinking a glass of wine and soaking in the incredible beauty...what more can we say. We wanted more than just a place to sleep before and after skiing, mountain biking, or enjoying Vail. We wanted a home that felt like you were on vacation while doing nothing but just sitting on the couch or having drinks on the deck. This is one of those rare properties that truly takes you away from it all.

What makes this house unique

This home sits at the top of its property and provides amazing views in all directions. You can access this home by walking up the steps (so conventional) or ride the private Funicular - Rail Car - to the top. It's amazing!!!

PERFECT!!!

We stayed three families 6 adults and 4 children (ages 6 to 16), It is a very nice house located in a quiet street. A 7 minute drive from Lionshead and 10 min. from Vail Village. Great views and inside have a great kitchen, 3 Bedroms plus a couple of sofa beds in the loft and in the TV room. Outside you get a private Hot Tub with a nice outside terrace to enjoy the views. Finally a great owner that is at all times in contact to make sure everything is in order and that even has special details with the guests...Everything was clean and looked neat as new. It has a special private funicular that helps avoid walking up 4 minutes on the stairs...It is slow and we used it mainly for taking the luggage up and down and a couple of times when we were too tired from skiing. The only bad thing I can think of is that it is not within the Vail free Shuttle route (two or three blocks away) but that also makes the street quiet and the price for the view.

If you are going to rent it, please take very good care of it since we are coming back in the future.

Wonderful Home

We just returned from a wonderful trip to Vail for a long weekend with two other couples. The trip was fabulous and so was this home. Extremely nice and professional owner who is accommodating and touched base with us during our stay to make sure everything was ok (thank you Glen!). The home is new on the rental market in Vail and it is a gem. Beautiful living room, nice size bedrooms and living areas. Amazing views...the home is very high up on a hill. Very clean. Lots of places to hang-out. Would be fabulous for a couple families! Great summer vacation spot, too. We will be back for sure...

Amazing find - we have already re-booked for next year

This home is truly a gem, amazing views of the forest in one direction and the lights of Vail to the other. Although this house is in Vail, the privacy was surprising. The hot tub was heavenly, under the stars and completely private next to the forest. This was the perfect retreat for our family vacation, 3 couples and 3 children. Fun little lofts abound for the kids to play in. One loft, not advertised, has two single beds inside this hidden loft, with a skylight, windows and amazing views. We were able to have adult time in the beautiful and comfortable great room with our friends and family while the children watched movies in the downstairs movie room. This was the perfect family home for our Thanksgiving holiday. The kitchen is great with all the utensils and things we needed, and it was great having the second oven and refrigerator for all the thanksgiving platters. I can't even describe the views, they are breathtaking. This is not your typical rental, this is truly a family retreat that is warm and inviting and we most definitley will be spending our Thanksgiving there again next year!
