A Cozy vacation rental in South Lake Tahoe

Honey Bear Cabin is a 3 bedroom/ 2 bath privately owned cabin in a beautiful wooded setting. The cabin has modern amenties such as a fully equipped kitchen, with a dishwasher, coffee maker, washer & dryer, 2 wood burning stoves (one in the Master bedroom), 2 bathrooms, hot tub, cable TV, DSL internet with WiFi, plenty of parking all year.

This is a perfect mountain retreat to spend time for with your family and friends. The cabin sleeps up to 7 people( in beds) comfortably, although 9-10 can squeeze (we have an aerobed).

The bedrooms:

Bedroom 1 - queen bed and private bathroom, flat screen TV, sliding doors to deck

Bedroom 2 - queen bed, flat screen TV

Bedroom 3- bunk with lower double, upper twin (the bunk sleeps 2 or 3) sliding doors to another deck, flat screen TV

There is an aerobed available if needed for additional quests.
About Susan

We are skiers and love the mountains. We purchased this home because we love the Sierras and more specifically the South Lake Tahoe Basin. We have owned several vacation homes in other beautiful areas. We live and work in the Sierras and are excited about sharing our cabin with you!

This property is cozy and feels like a cabin in the mountains. It is located in a serene wooded setting on 1/3 of an acre and is extremely easy to get to and from. In the winter the roads are plowed and close to three world class ski resorts (Heavenly, Kirkwood, and Sierra Tahoe). In the summer you are 5 minutes drive from one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, golfing, hundreds of mountain biking and hiking trails! Welcome to South Lake Tahoe!

What makes this cabin unique

The Honey Bear Cabin is in a perfect location. It feels remote yet is amazingly close to everything you could possibly need such as ski resorts, grocery shopping, casinos, sightseeing, spas, fitness centers, golfing, fishing, mountain biking, casinos and on and on. This vacation cabin has a large hot tub off the deck, a fenced yard for privacy in the back for kids and a dog to play, 3 bedrooms with queen sized beds, two bathrooms, woodburning stove, flat-screen TV's in each room, fully equipped kitchen with all the amenities such as dishwasher, microwave, blender, plates, glasses, cookware, Wifi, Cable TV, free telephone calls within the US, on site parking for several cars.

The Honey Bear Cabin is located perfectly in South Lake Tahoe, just off of Hwy 50 in the North Upper Truckee Road area bordering USFS Land - below Echo Summit and Luther Pass.

Honey Bear Cabin is in a quiet wooded area which offers the best location in all of South Lake Tahoe. Minutes from town and central to three major Tahoe ski resorts: Heavenly, Kirkwood and Sierra Tahoe, as well as being only 35 minutes from North Shore.

Visit Emerald Bay, Zephyr Cove, the Casino's at Stateline or just relax on the deck or in the hot tub watching the squirrels and listening to the mountain chick-a-dee's sing.

This area, specifically, offers some of the best skiing, mountain bike and hiking trails as well as first class golf courses, fine dining and magnificent scenery. We welcome you to enjoy time in Lake Tahoe in your own private cabin - home away from home.

Such a delightful and cozy cabin, we've rented many cabins in the Tahoe area and this by far is the best. Comfy beds, quiet and beautiful location and just a quick drive to downtown. Thanks for having us!
